Goddammit .... f*^king doctors.... no smoking ... no drinking...no heavy lifting...no fat. etc. I knew there was a reason I avoided those bastards for almost twenty years. Sadly they put me on the wagon. Life without booze sucks. |

That sucks TTM, try some near beer if you get the urge to wet the ole whistle.
I once went camping with this family of irish drunks, they were BIG drinkers, but the father was on probation or something for a DWI and he couldn't drink no hooch.
anyways, we sat around the fire drinking all night, and that old man sat there guzzling near beer, matching us beer for near-beer till we passed out.
I was amazed, I couldn't even imagine sitting there downing a case of near beer in one sitting, yuck, seems like a sure fire way to make yourself sick

Well, I assume forever is what the doctors want. My stepfather had a similar problem to mine. But he stopped drinking for about a whole week and said then said fuck it....and continued. He just dropped dead at home about 10 years ago at the ripe old age of 63. So I suppose when one "disobeys" the doctors like that it's just rolling the dice and hope your number doesn't come up. Unfortunately for my stepfather he rolled the dice one too many times.
