And Nelcotte, if McCain or Gore were prez and not Bush, maybe the warnings about an imminent attack would've been heeded... and pity those Kurds gassed by weapons sold to them, by people like Rumsfeld. I've been watching elections since 1972 (with Dad) and I do not EVER recall such an intense interest THIS early.
We are gonna fight A LOT in the coming months.
But the one thing I am proud and grateful for is that I was born and live in the United States of America. Despite our many faults and as a result of our many triumphs, Democracy remains firmly intact.
Surely, we can all hoist to that, no???
