If the Dem's do not start over ... they will lose this golden opportunity to take control ... neither Obama or Hillary are electable due to huge "negatives" as the Pols say ... but to whom do they or we look for leadership??? Malcolm X at least was a real Afro American!! ... no doubt ... I would have voted for him back in the day ... I have never voted for a "Elephant" ... but we are now down to two Dem's that can't win??? .... what else can a poor boy do ... they need a canidate closer to the middle ... Obama is painting himself as far Left as possible with the drunk (dare we say killer) standing at his side ... this is a tactic McGovern may have embraced ... CCM

I could see McCain's appeal a few years ago. After he let himself get ass raped by the Connecticut Corleone's, he now just seems like the Senates' lunchroom "Sheila."

Mike Huckabee was very good in the debate last night... I notice, right before a candidate sinks in the polls and backs out, they start talking from the heart and kill in the debates, exceot for Fred Thompson, homeboy sucked when he talked.
For over 12 minutes last night, McCain and Romney bitch pissed each other. I looked at my wife and was like WTF? they are fighting over nothing and they agree anyway.... Then he honest and free speaking Paul repeated my sentiments. and let them both know, and let anyone listening know, how retarded we are, and how we avoid talking about the real issue and solutions. And then Mike H. killed with some great stuff.... McCain was losing me last night, he was horrible... I was left feeling Huckabee and Paul were the only two I liked and would vote for after last nights debate... I've let myself this entire time, just go with the flow and watched the debates and done my internal poll. This much I know, Romney vs. Clinton and I'm moving to Costa Rica.
All I know is that I don't know....

For those of you who have realized that George W. Bush isn't running for re-election...
TOP TEN REASONS JOHN MCCAIN IS NOT A CONSERVATIVE, OR EVEN A REPUBLICAN
1. John McCain teamed with Ted Kennedy and attempted to give amnesty to every illegal alien in America, and even wished to grant them access retroactively to Social Security benefits accrued under illegally used numbers while here against the current law.
2. John McCain (along with the regular cohort of lefties) removed your right to speak out against political candidates (including him) through advocacy ads in the 30-60 days before a primary or general election. The infamous McCain-Feingold legislation proves he couldn't find an originalist judge if the man was sharing a pair of pants with him.
3. John McCain considered leaving the GOP to become an independent caucusing with the Dems, and only balked when Jeffords beat him to it. Daschle and others swear its true.
4. John McCain proved himself to be a populist anti-capitalist when he called the pharmaceutical companies "the enemy" during the most recent South Carolina debate. George Will is even wondering why John is a Republican and hasn't switched yet.
5. John McCain has swallowed the "Man Made Global Warming" pill whole. He has teamed with Lieberman to offer legislation to create a carbon cap and trade system that the Congressional Budget Office believes will add energy costs to each family of between $560-1800 per year, with the money raked in dispersed out in R&D grants, or government pork barrel goody contracts as I interpret it.
6. John McCain voted against the "Bush" tax cuts more than once, voted for amendments to keep the death tax alive, and along with our faithful Governor Pawlenty calls huge tobacco tax increases "fees".
7. John McCain believes waterboarding for US Servicemen is normal during training for capture situations, but calls it unconscienable torture when applied to important organizational terrorist figures caught plotting to kill Americans. This American serviceman disagrees.
8. John McCain supported gun control measures with rules that would have effectively shut down gun shows and gun sales between private parties. He teamed with Andrew McKelvey's Handgun Control spinoff called Americans For Gun Safety. A real champion of the little guy our McCain. Gun Owner's Of America rating - F
9. John McCain has stated he would vote for the international anti-sovereignty Treaty of The Seas if it was "tweaked" a little. This compact would give an international body the jurisdiction to dictate naval forces movement, oceanic weapons and technology testing, and set and collect fees and divy up rights and royalties to all energy resources found and recovered at sea in current international waters. One country, one vote. How do you think Iran would vote for our rights to traverse the Straits of Hormuz?
10. Reminds me too much of a pissed off Huck-a-jerk without the Chuck Norris sidekick. Leading a fighter squadron gives you leadership experience to lead a fighter squadron of 24 guys. Reagan made war bond films. Who cares. American hero or socialist? Probably both.
Me, you and LJ completely agree on this. . . holy shit!
And Feej too!!!!!
Can Armageddon be too far away?????
LJ.

It's funny Fiji, whenDemocrats have defected b/c they feel their party abandoned them, they are embraced by Republicans, yet when a Republican, feels they are abandoned, you shoot them...
If anyone wants to impress me, spark up Romney, show me or tell me how the fuck he is a Republican or a conservative...
At this point, all I care about, is that the next president have the forsight and thinks less of themself, to surround themself with people who are smarter then they are and get the best council and advice possible. Truth is romney won't, he is too ego driven, like Bush... And you see what happens, "mistakes were made" is the tag line and cop out. Fuck that, mistakes that killed and cost billions. Niether Romney or Clinton will drop their ego to get people around them to build a strong administation. They will have to many favors to repay. Bash McCain or Obama all you want, I know this much... America is not changing if we go with Man pants or Goofier the L. Ron Hubbard Boy...

Obama gives a large amount of Americans hope. I know he would appoint experts and qualified people, who are smarter than him, to help him, unlike many people ie: Bush/romney ect... And the hope he brings, is hope to millions who b/c of an inheireted system, feel they could never do better in life. The poor, yes, black people, sick people, and yes, even dumb white trash. I'm not saying we need to make laws, or give handouts, we need people to know they can do better, even though they are the umpteenth genration of people who were not allowed to vote, or get good schooling ect... Hope is something that is much needed... and if the world sees America lead by a person with the same color skin, they have, it would be the biggest and foreign policy we've ever know. I've watched a president for 7 years, act like he knew it all, and he was far from smart enough on many things... Ugh! really dangerously bad on a few big ones, who also surrounded himself with many unqualified people. And those who were qualified, like Powell, were used and ignored... what's the point of that?
I'm very fluid with my feelings on this election, but a few things I do know. If nothing changes (Clinton,Romney) nothing will change. Things are changing, and we have a great chance to do something great. We have young evangelicals who want to fight against drastic climate change, alot of peope are thinking, acting... These are great times, and also a times of great risk.
Bush proved one thing to me. Anyone who thinks they are absolutely right, and will not be swayed, is someone who can't react or think on their feet when the shit hits the fan. He was tested early on, and failed. No biggie realy, except he didn't learn from it, and america is at a crossroads on many fronts because of it.
Anyone can have a huge track record, years of experience, but bottom line is, almost every president will face one, huge surprising crisis. If history has taught us anything, it is that all that matters at that moment, is the person ni charge needs to have faith and the wits, to think on their toes and do the next right thing.
Not to sound like a freak, but I'd like the next president to be a person who can handle a crisis, like a mega natural disaster, and country wide powere outage, a yet to be thought of attack... Anyone can make decisions with what you know is going to happen....
Good times!!!
I've posted alot today... ugh!
