Thanks Mel. I'm sure we will get a tour "newbie" when Joe Grushecky takes the stage with Bruce. Hopefully it will be someting other than "Hungry Heart" or "Glory Days" as in past show. "Code of Silence" (another repeat) would be great though.

Ha! I've been suckered into that show before, and I probably would have been this time if it was not for an early morning at work. This time he probably will show. I can't complain though. I have seen Joe Grushecky many times, and a few times there was a "special guest". I always liked when they sang "Pumpin Iron, Sweatin Steel".

Anway last time after the PNC show. Joe Grushecky had a show booked at the Hard Rock. Drunk fans left the show, road the boat over to Station Square, and flocked to the Hard Rock. Bruce never showed. Joe Grushecky even announced that Bruce was on the plane. It was not pretty. I felt sorry for Joe. Probably why he booked a show the night before this time.

That is the funniest thing I have heard in a while. Yes, I have seen Joe Grushecky, B. E. Taylor, and Donnie Iris (AKA the Pittsburgh All-Stars) perform several times.

Its also funny you should mention that. I talked to Donnie Iris on the phone about a month ago. The fire department that I am a volunteer in is having our 100th anniversary next year. We are probably going to book him for a fund raiser. That dude still packs the house around here.

King Kool and the yellow tux.

So - didja call him The Rapper?
13th November 2007 09:36 PM
robpop Naw, just Mr. Iris. Then he told me his real name. So I just called him Don. He runs a real estate/insurance business in Beaver.

This is for Winslow/Starbuck /whatever else. A Donnie Iris Star Wars video about that awkward love between a brother and a sister.

Thanks. No its the old Civic Arena. It will be replaced within the next two years. The building is aged, but really a bad seat anywhere.

Night into ST1 in D.C. was a knockout combination punch. Youngstown -- cool. I wonder if it's the full-band version as in '99 or what.

Hopin' so.

I'm making a buncha "From Small Things" signs to hand out to every little kid I see.

And if that doesn't work, Im hopeful that waving Dave Edmunds himself over my head will...
