Nellcote ticket will say 730P, however, at the openah, he did not come on 'till 820P
If you are on the floor, different set of rules, being there early in the day for a wristband is important.
Hey, Dog, I've been meaning to tell you....
My 12 yr old daughter is digging the Ramones, last night, we watched several videos together, she was jammin!

Thanks for the info. The new Ramones double DVD is pretty cool...

I'm going to the first night. No doubt, you'll get the better setlist.

I'm liking "Magic," but not nearly as much as some.

About 2 1/2. Right, no opener.

Dan I have multiple low bids on a show but I am starting to worry I am going to be stuck holding a stack of tickets.
23rd October 2007 05:18 PM
glencar I heard on Howard Stern that the redhead does one of her songs. Is that the cue for mass exodus?

This would've been like a Wymann set during a Stones gig, no?

"Town Called Heartbreak," from Scialfa's latest album. They haven't done it in a while, so it may in fact have been dropped. It definitely was piss-break song, from what I've read.

Its actually not bad, and Bruce does duet on it.

However, warning for the piss-breakers - when they play it, they have a habit of following it with something magnificent like "Incident on 57th Street", causing much premature splashing of urine on pants

2 and a half maximum. No opener.

hes 58. 4 hours is a bit unreasonable! Those sort of gigs were around 1980

As he's playing at least half of it, it might be advisable to start listening!

Nellcote I was skeptical about the Patti song before the show.
It's actually a good number, Bruce dueting, on harmonica, blistering slide solo by Nils. Bathroom break, what the hell is that, it's so over-rated.

pdog I piss before the show, and I'm good for the rest of the show...

PartyDoll MEG Sounds like I fall somewhere between Nelly/Pdog and Mel.

One of the many benefits of sobriety, no doubt!
24th October 2007 07:26 AM
M.O.W.A.T. I got lucky and was at the first show where they dropped Patti's set.

I had two large beers (had to drive back home) and have come to conclude that the price you pay for a beer at a venue is equal to the amount of times you will have to go for a piss! I swear, I had to go at least 5 times before the show!

Can never understand the obsession myself. Especially at Stones shows.

Think about it. People will spend $500 on a ticket and waste 10% of the show on a piss break. $50 for a fucking piss! Those last couple of beers work out pretty expensive.

I make sure I've REALLY 'drained the lizard' before I go in.

Why? ...OH Why?......
Do you ever run out of euphemisms?

And Pdog...I hope you are still going to see Bruce despite the heat!!!! That is no excuse, ya know!

No kidding. What a waste. Especially if you're in the GA section and have a good spot up front. Wild horses couldn't drag me away. One of the many benefits of not drinking beer!

Dan Just keep an empty cup with you or in Mel Belli's case, an empty keg.

I don't think I'm going to go... I'm going to a show tonight after soccer, Madball and Sick Of It All. It's cheap, this show will be less than the cost to park, besides I got too much going on this week. I'm just not feeling excited to see Bruce right now. I'll wait til the 2nd go around next year.

monkey_man Word on the street is that Springsteen is gonna be one of the special guests at the Bridge Benefit this weekend.
