In your humble opinion. MCB may be more aesthically pleasing. But Santa Claus is just pure fun and a big fan favorite. Although I'm a little surprised he pulled it out this early.

According to the fan-compiled 'confirmed' list of tour dates on Greasylake.org, it seems. Guess it just hasnt been 'announced' yet

he's just finishing a show there as I type this, so maybe there'll be an announcement soon after?

Gazza New date just added :

Santiago Bernabeu Stadium, Madrid (Real Madrid FC), July 17th

Amazed at the size of these venues. That stadium never gets used for concerts. Between that show, the 2 in Barcelona and the Milan show which just went onsale an hour ago, youre looking at about 330,000 tickets for those 4 gigs alone. (Madrid holds 81,000 for football, Milan 83,000 and Barcelona 99,000)

Where is this audience coming from?

Bruce holds down the price of his tickets. From a Cohlian perspective, they're probably artificially low. From Bruce's -- and the fans' -- perspective, it's a win-win: great crowds and a more than healthy payday.

I agree, is he very 'big' in Southern Europe?

Gazza Yeah...hes very popular in Spain and Italy. its generally accepted now that his most passionate audience is Italy and the last ESB live DVD was filmed in Barcelona, so that says it all. Scandinavian ticket sales are quite impressive as well....7 stadium shows there.

Plus - like Ireland - Italy and Spain got quite a lot of the Seeger shows, so they seem to support his music regardless of who its with.

However, on ticket sales per head of population, his management have actually stated that his strongest market is now in fact - Ireland.

glencar Is he coming back to NYC?
6th December 2007 12:07 PM
Gazza Theres no shows in the city itself on the spring tour (hes playing Nassau Coliseum, Hartford, Rochester) but you can expect some stadium shows when they come back from Europe next summer....(the Euro tour is scheduled to end on July 20)

I've heard Yankee Stadium mentioned, but its probably more likely to be a run of shows at Giants Stadium (I know its not technically NYC, but its close enough)
