True, the pictures are sickening...there's no excuse for that...but, then again, have any of us ever been in a situation where we have seen our friends murdered every day? I'm sure there's major psychological damage there...but I don't know the whole story...and it's inexcusable.
Thank God we don't have pictures of what the Iraqis did to Jessica Lynch...which, I'm sure, was far worse.
