ebmp ohhh sorry

It was already posted, didn't see it

Anyway, a 30th Anniversary version of darkness would be AWESOME

Maybe a full show again, like Passaic 78 (coloured) or Phoenix 78

Hell, anything would be great

BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN & THE E STREET BAND
GENERAL ADMISSION PIT LINE

- On the day of the show, sequentially numbered wristbands will be distributed beginning at 2:00 PM at the gate. Wristbands will be distributed until 5:00 PM.

- A starting number will be randomly picked at 5:15 PM; this will be announced and displayed on a placard at the gate. No more wristbands will be distributed after 5:00 PM.

- 5:30 PM - All fans with GA tickets and a wristband should begin lining-up in numerical order, beginning with the announced number. The line will be escorted into the GA Pit Area in front of the stage approximately 10 minutes before the rest of the patrons are allowed to enter the venue.

- One wristband per patron and the patron must also be in possession of a GA ticket.

- A wristband and a GA ticket are required to enter the GA Pit Area in front of the stage.

- The starting number will be drawn randomly at 5:15 PM by a fan. The fan holding the wristband that matches the starting number drawn will be first in line (i.e. if #'s 1 - 100 were issued and number 10 was drawn, the line would start with 10, then 11, 12, 13 through 100 then 1-9). When the starting number is announced, the line will shift accordingly.

- The purpose of the random number distribution is to insure that all fans have the same chance of being first in line, eliminating the need to camp out. This policy also helps to insure customer safety and provides for an effective means of crowd control.

- Anyone who receives a numbered wristband between 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM has a chance to be first in line to enter the Pit Area, but a wristband does not guarantee a place in the Pit Area.

- Wristbands will be issued and affixed to the patron’s wrist only after the patron's ticket has been verified a GA ticket.

NO WRISTBANDS WILL BE ISSUED AT THE GA PIT ENTRANCE
ON THE FLOOR WITHIN THE VENUE.

PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT NO PATRON, FAN, OR CLUB RUN LIST
WILL BE HONORED BY TOUR PERSONNEL, SECURITY OR BUILDING PERSONNEL!

The above procedures will be implemented and supervised
by touring personnel.

Left Shoe Shuffle New show announced @ backstreets:
"An Evening with Bruce Springsteen" on May 7

The Count Basie Theatre in Red Bank, NJ, has been home to numerous special Springsteen performances over the years: the 1993 warm-up show ("Achy Breaky Heart," anyone?), benefits in 1998 for the Sgt. Patrick King Memorial Fund, in 2001 for the Alliance of Neighbors, in 2003 for Robert Bandiera Jr., in 2006 for the PALS support group, and more.

Now, Bruce Springsteen will perform a concert there to benefit the theatre itself, on Wednesday, May 7, in the three-week break between North American and European legs of the Magic tour.

Proceeds from "An Evening with Bruce Springsteen" will benefit the historic Count Basie Theatre and help offset the cost of the renovation and restoration of the theatre that will begin this summer. A portion of the concert proceeds will also support other programs and operations at the Theatre, such as the Cool School. Patti Scialfa serves on the Board of the Basie Foundation and as Honorary Chair of the Capital Campaign.

In two weeks, tickets will be made available to the public through an online "Make Your Best Offer" Auction beginning March 20 at www.countbasietheatre.org

Instructions on how the auction will work will be provided both there and here on that date.

Rusty Young, CEO of the Count Basie Theatre Foundation, said, "We are excited that Bruce Springsteen will be performing a benefit concert and deeply appreciate his willingness to help preserve and restore the Basie."

Gotta agree with you!

But ya know Badlands is always the pinnacle of a Bruce concert for me anyway..even when I get a "gem" or 2 thrown in.. Something about that song and everyone singing it always gets to me...

PartyDoll MEG Damn an Impromptu ROSALITA!!!

MARCH 6: ROCHESTER NUMBER ONE!
Last time the E Street Band played the Blue Cross Arena, five years ago this month, they tour-debuted "Fire." This time, it was "come sit by my fire," as an impromptu "Rosalita" came out in Rochester, purely by request. In the encore, after a young girl held up a "Rosalita, Please" sign for much of the show, Bruce finally said "Gimme that sign," slowly revealed it to a losing-their-shit crowd, and launched into a rough-and-tumble version of the Wild & Innocent classic with the sign propped against the mic stand the entire time. And that that was just the icing on the cake of an intensely high energy show, a perfect synergy of performer, audience, setlist, and setting.

"Is this a new building or an old building?" Bruce asked the crowd. "Old building!" "Yeah, I thought so... old buildings are still the best buildings." And he rocked it by packing the main set solid: "Night" to open; "Jackson Cage" added between "Lonesome Day" and "Gypsy Biker"; two barnburners -- "Because the Night" and an audibled "Loose Ends" -- sandwiched between "Reason" and "She's the One." It's worth starting a new sentence for another of tonight's Moments, "Racing in the Street." And a crowd truly deserving of the "Rosie" boon completed the energy feedback loop. Still no red headed woman -- Patti remains absent from this leg so far -- but damn if they're not getting the dirty job done.

"Rochester number one!" Bruce hollered at the end of the night -- and he's right, this is a contender for best show of the tour so far. "Don't let them tear this building down!"

Next: They shuffle off to Buffalo for a Friday night show.
