deuce So...to those of you who have downloaded it...

Is the 1-20-06 MSG DVD really fixed?
28th March 2006 08:27 PM
andrews27 It would be great if a fixed version of "Cracked Mirror, Dull Blades" was put up, since the one put up already sounds brilliant, but won't play without constant skips. Or else please seed San Francisco 10-18-81, as this is the show the "Cracked" excerpts come from. If the "Cracked" torrent up now were a car, somebody would write FIX ME in the dust...

teddyk2 RS - San Francisco 18-10-81 Cracked Mirror, Dull Blades And You - Great Live Concerts

Comment:
There is some chorusing from digital/analog noise reduction.
First CD release of this show. Released on LP's: "Something Old Something Blue", "Tie Me Down Or Turn Me Loose" both on Tallow Records,
"Cracked Mirror, Dull Blades And You" on the Great Live Concerts label, and as "California Canapé".
This origin of this recording was from a small distribution to an "inner circle" of collectors. A promise was broken.

Did you try reallocating the files with ImgToolBurn (Reallocate VIDEO_TS Structure option) or DVDShrink (Backup FullDisc in NO COMPRESSION mode)?
I didn't dload that DVD, but, I always do this "reallocation" with DVDs that Nero complains about them. Doing this, Nero burns them flawlessly.

The "distant" Atlanta 78 show was once, I think, a 2-LP set called "Southern Quotations." If so, it's *really* distant.

Southern Quotations is taken from the Greensboro 26/6/1978 show...

Thank you !
I got it from DIME time ago but of course with some songs deleted because of DIME's policies.

Disc 1 :
03. You Got Me Rocking
11. Sweethearts Together
12. Suck On The Jugular
15. Thru And Thru
16. Mean Disposition

and Disc 4 :
02. You got Me Rocking
03. Sparks will fly
10. Baby breaks It Down

So, I'll only grab these songs from Disc 1 for the moment.

That's sooo true!
I have to read about a lot of rubbish to find out
- after scrolling and scrolling and scrolling -
that nothing new is on the tracker!
We absolutely need some new threats:
1. "requesting reseeds"
2. "Talk about torrents"

This one should only be used for "NEW TORRENT ANNOUNCEMENTS"

No, not this time, but DVDshrink didn't work the first time,

GotToRollMe I haven't had a chance to burn it to disc yet, but if there are still problems with the MSG 1/20 show, I'll try and reauthor it. I have to go out of town for a few days, but I should be able to get to it on Sunday.

Could the unedited Voodoo Brew go up here or elsewhere? Especially disks 1 and 4, since most people already have all 4, but only 1 and 4 have been edited. THANKS

I've been listening to these alot. I personally have taken the "nuggets of all 8 Voodoo Outtake discs to have the creme de la creme for myself.

Hi All - My copy of the artwork only has 17 tracks. The torrent only had 16 tracks for disc 3. Perhaps the 17 track disc *is* complete? It seems to be:

http://www.bootlegzone.com/album.php?name=yd-048§ion=9

http://www.bootlegzone.com/scan.php?scid=10895

Can anyone help confirm this?

Also, track #10 on the artwork is "I'm Going Down". Is is the same version that exists on the EVCD "The Lost Sessions" disc?

-all the best!
