Please, everybody be patience, I'll upload the AUDIO of this AWESOME show but I'm waiting for Shattered, Start Me Up and the Band Intros that were cut off from the TV broadcast.

Mike (a.k.a. mamakin from Shidoobee) will send me these songs recorded from the radio broadcast (in WAV format) tomorrow.

Wolfgang (a.k.a. drno12) sent me the (as always) AWESOME artwork for this show, so it's a matter of time in receiving those songs, mix them with my TV broadcast source and torrent to the RO tracker.

About the DVD, I'm downloading from DIME the G. the Cock 2 set DVDs in PAL-N. I also see a new torrent there of 6.68 GB DVD in NTSC. I'm still downloading the PAL-N DVDs so I can't share them here, anyway, I couldn't if I would because my upload bandwith is really low to share something bigger than 1 GB. (16 KB/s)

Altamont Can anyone suggest a free DIVX to MPEG converter? Or anything that will convert a video DIVX file into anything else that I will be able burn to DVDR or even VCD? I got this DIVX video file that for some reason I cannot burn to disc using Nero. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

DoctorStones Nero can burn avi files if you ask him to burn a data disc.

That's what I did, actually. And the data disc would play fine on my PC but it wouldn't play on my DVD player. I'm thinking it's time to upgrade to a better DVD player. The DVD player I have now plays just about any kind of burned disc, but I guess not data discs.

thats the audio only, no rio DVD on tracker. click the 3 little buttons at the end of the row for details.

I would suggest working backwards through the last set of bit torrent threads to find it.

I don't want to be a killjoy, but I do feel I have to point out that obtaining and using copywrite software in this (or any other) way without paying for it is piracy and therefore illegal. I will leave it up to your individual consciences as to whether this bothers you.

Mmmm...yes we certainly know about it. It is NOT from rs.com, it is audience footage

It actually originated on THIS site about 3 years ago when Jimmy (Cardinal Fang) compiled it from a series of 1998-99 shows (mostly in Chicago and Northern California) that had been filmed by a good friend of his who had recently died. None of the footage had ever circulated before.

Jimmy offered it for sale as a way of raising funds for the guy's wife and kids. We normally dont allow any unofficial material to be sold through this site but we made an exception for this as it was for a charitable cause and several people sent cheques or made a paypal donation for it. The understanding was that it wouldnt be re-sold or re-distributed.

I've since seen it torrented on dimeadozen which is a bit disappointing, but not surprising.

swampff @altamont

try "tmpeg" http://www.tmpgenc.net/e_main.html
its a free vcd (mpg1) encoder, very easy to use
you even have some trial time for mpg2 (svcd/dvd)

JayCee "Rolling Stones Madison Square Garden January 20, 2006 DVD

Any comments about this recording?"

Wish I could give you an answer. Downloaded it, seeded it and cannot get it to burn no matter what I try. In NERO I get a message stating that "VIDEO_TS.VOB" is not indexed and cannot be burned. I tried DVD Shrink and DVD decrypter and neither will allow a burn. I think several others have also had a problem burning the disk. Any answer from anyone on a workaround or a fix for the bad file(s) would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.........

GotToRollMe New on tracker this afternoon:

Rolling Stones - Buenos Aires 02 21 06 - DVD 1

Tracks:

01. Jumpin' Jack Flash
02. It's Only Rock 'N' Roll
03. Oh No, Not You Again
04. Tumbling Dice
05. Worried About You
06. Rain Fall Down
07. Midnight Rambler
08. Night Time
09. This Place Is Empty

I got this torrent from Dimeadozen, thanks to gthecock.
PAL format.

For those who have problems playing PAL DVDs on their players, there is a "patch" posted here:
http://forum.videohelp.com/viewtopic.php?t=221928&start=0&postdays=0&postorder=asc&highlight=
The patch isn't guaranteed to work for all DVDs, and I haven't tried it because these discs play fine for me on my cheapo player; but they wouldn't play on my friend's Pioneer player, so I'm posting it here strictly as a possible solution. I didn't convert the files to NTSC because it's a lengthy process and, more importantly, the frame rate is different for PAL and NTSC and the end result is usually an image that jumps and skips. Good luck!
***********************************************************
I've just been informed that there's a 3-DVD NTSC version of this show running on Dimeadozen here:
http://www.dimeadozen.org/torrents-details.php?id=84655
I'm downloading it now, and if the quality is better than the PAL version, I'll ask the mods here if I can replace it.

crb69 Nero users: Try using Nerovision Express...only use the show files; no menu files (vts_) preview first if necessary. Then allocate them in the proper order 1-1,2-1,3-1 etc. The current authoring order is 1-1, 3-1, 2-1, 4-1, 5-1... this should work...haven't actually tried it yet.

Had problems with my first DVD as well (Fujifilm DVD-R, 1-8X speed). Jumping, small stops, unsynched.

But with the second try (TDK DVD-R, 1-16X speed) it works perfect. A beautifully filmed show! Magic!
