Joey " I'd debate her on politics and chat about US history with her any day of the week, very informative are her diaries!! "

The Paris Hilton Diaries are simply AMAZING !!!!!

What ?!?! ... Oh , .. sure ! :

***** Chapter 35 , Paris again reviews one of her favorite books , " The Path To Power " *******

" We watch him, while still at college, instinctively (and ruthlessly) creating the beginnings of the political machine that was to serve him for three decades. We see him employing his extraordinary ability to mesmerize and manipulate powerful older men, to mesmerize (and sometimes almost enslave) useful subordinates. We see him carrying out, before his thirtieth year, his first great political inspiration: tapping-and becoming the political conduit for-the money and influence of the new oil men and contractors who were to grow with him to immense power. We follow, close up, the radical fluctuations of his relationships with the formidable "Mr. Sam" Raybum (who loved him like a son and whom he betrayed) and with FDR himself. And we follow the dramas of his emotional life-the intensities and complications of his relationships with his family, his contemporaries, his girls; his wooing and winning of the shy Lady Bird; his secret love affair, over many years, with the mistress of one of his most ardent and generous supporters...
Johnson driving his people to the point of exhausted tears, equally merciless with himself. ..Johnson bullying, cajoling, lying, yet inspiring an amazing loyalty...Johnson maneuvering to dethrone the unassailable old Jack Garner (then Vice-President of the United States) as the New Deal's "connection" in Texas, and seize the power himself...Johnson raging...Johnson hugging...Johnson bringing light and, indeed, life to the worn Hill Country farmers and their old-at-thirty wives via the district's first electric lines." ( Paris Hilton , 2002 )

I heard that after her diary series is complete, there will be a series entitled "The Wit and Wisdom of Paris Hilton" published in 24 different volumes with collectible covers.

Don't Arianna Huffington and Sharon Osbourne look alike, or is it just that they both are about the same age?

They used to look quite a bit alike, but now that Sharon is wasting her kids inheritance on plastic surgery, she don't look quite as repulsive, yet she's still quite evil.

I believe that was on a recent appearance of "Meet The Press." Its amazing how she can back ANY interviewer in a corner with a mere sentence of her political insight.

Math is not my strong suit, but wouldn't Paris have only been five years old in 1986?
Is Joey playing coy with us, as he did in the Conner Oberst thread last week?

Yes , Paris was also a ' roundtable member ' of CNN's now defunct " THE CAPITAL GANG " and " Crossfire " Program .

Paris also is a ' regular ' on Scarborough Country but has been banned from EVER appearing again on MSNBC's HARDBALL with Chris Matthews !

Thats only because she made Matthews look like an inexperienced newbie with her vast knowledge of Japanese politics and her endless knowledge of secret trade embargo's. I love the dress she wore that night as well.

It was odd that when they came back from commercial break, they only showed her from shoulders up, yet it was still ok to show all those viagra commercials.

Its amazing that before she could drive, she authored the new constitution for the reunified Germany and was an advisor for the new Soviet Union in the early 90's.

****** MORE FROM PARIS HILTON'S DIARIES ********

*********** Paris continues her review of " Master of the Senate " ******************

" Caro must be American's greatest living Presidential biographer. In this third volume on Johnson, he entrances us with both his words and his research. With due deference to David McCullough, no other contemporary biographer offers such a complex picture of the forces driving an American politician or populates his work with such vividly drawn secondary characters...the author is at his best when relating the impact of congressional action on Americans' lives. You can almost smell the musty offices in the Barbour County Courthouse in Eufala, Ala, as black citizens try in vain to register to vote. And you can feel the pain of Maud Olds after LBJ leads the savage confirmation fight against her husband,...Leland Olds, in a heavy handed attempt to curry favor with Texas utility companies." ( Paris Hilton , 2002 )
