corgi37 Fuck you Yanks are a funny bunch.

Lefties bleat about everything and everything, and the righties justify it all.

"My country right or wrong" Aussie band Midnight Oil once sang. I love U.S. politics, cause its so bloody funny watching all the "jerks" clamouring to get their heads on cameras, no matter how unimportant they are, about trivial shit like 1 song on 1 album by a old band.

And what is the deal with the haircuts of these people? Newt Gingrich, Hannity, O'Reilly - Man, its a spin out! No one has real parts like that in reality.

Maybe its an illusion?

Anyway, fight on!!!!! It makes old Uncle Corgi very happy.

Jumping Jack Riffy,
In 20 years when Europe is completely overrun by uneducated muslims who won't assimilate, contribute nothing, and are a burden on taxpayers while trying to convert them to Islam by murder and extortion it will be Rough Justice on them.

Today's generation will proudly be able to tell their children they had no balls and gave away their futures because they were willing taking advice from burned out, dim witted, publicity seeking, liberal celebrities and rock stars. I am sure they will be proud of themselves. If you think today's high unemployment rate and lousy economic prospects are something to whine about you ain't seen nothing yet. In 20 years the Europeans will be even more jealous of the Chinese than the Americans and will still not accept responsibility for the decisions they are making today.

Let's all sing praise to the liberal/socialist underachievers of the world who wallow in self pity rather than take action to help themselves. They deserve their fate!

nankerphelge What really sucks are all the "true liberal Stones fans" who have made comments such as conservatives shouldn't even go or are not true fans.

What a bunch of shit.

Despite any differences I ever had with any of you politically, I would never EVER question your right to be a true fan OR, even worse, suggest that you shouldn't go.

Until yesterday, I've always considered Stones fans to be some of the coolest and most decent people I have ever met despite their beliefs.

Zulu Fun Mix Geez, Riffhard, it sounds like you're accusing Mick of being an Islamic Terrorist Sympathizer. Oh my God, don't tell me Al Qaeda have infitrated the Rolling Stones, too! Whose side are they on, anyway?!?
August 10th, 2005 11:22 AM
Zulu Fun Mix Anyone who thinks 51% of Stones fans are rich religious freaks who think Saudi Arabia should be bombed, invaded, and annexed as the 51st state and renamed "New Texas" should go back and re-read Mac-Daddy's post. The overwhelming majority of intelligent, well-educated, cultured, traveled, and reasonably well-paid Americans live in Blue states, or at least Blue counties and cities (since there are some God-awful Red zones in otherwise very Blue states).
August 10th, 2005 11:29 AM
Zulu Fun Mix It's pretty funny that the right-wingers are all saying "oh but this will just blow over and not amount to anything after 2 weeks. You just wait and see." Maybe so, but a much cooler thing would be if "Sweet Neo Con" turns out to be a funny, danceable, and yet ass-kicking rock-and-roll song that gets played in clubs all over the world and has the entire younger generation globe-wide smirking at the dumbfuck American president and his passionately stupid supporters.

It's also pretty funny that some US nationalists here are saying that Mick, being English, doesn't have the right to comment on US politics. Actually, since the dumbfuck US president has appointed himself president of the world with the right to ignore all other countries and international organizations to invade and fuck over whomever he pleases, anyone in any country has the right to criticize him. And also the responsibility. If this song works, the Stones will have absolutely recovered their relevance. It's a great time to be a Stones fan.
August 10th, 2005 11:30 AM
Hondo First time so if I break any rules let me know...I'm not hardcore left or right but I do respect my country. Even though I don't love Bush(voted for him but only cause Kerry gave me the creeps) it does not mean I want Mick to be bashing him, especially to the rest of the world. When we allow our country and its leaders to be fuckin mocked it makes us look weak. If you seem weak to others you WILL be attacked, thats just the way the world works. I am pretty sick of the hard core left entertainers talking their shit all the time, now I have to listen to the Stones pile on...too bad cause now they are different in my eyes. Been enjoying them forever but they are kinda making me have an attitude towards them. Please Mick, tell us about the sex and drugs but stay away from politics.
August 10th, 2005 11:34 AM
Steel Wheels I love the Stones for lighting a fire under everyone's ass.

I'm getting these lyrics on a shirt. ASAP!
August 10th, 2005 11:58 AM
USFan I am extremely disappointed in the Stones. If I want to get preached at about politics, I'll watch a cable news channel or attend a political rally. I don't need to worry about getting bombarded with this sh!t when I buy an album or want to enjoy a concert that I pay good money for. F*ck this sh!t.

The situation in Detroit is abysmal and unconscionable -- Mick will be singing to thirty thousand empty seats in numbered rows all the while being filmed by ABC TElevision .

This is an Outrage !!!!!

Where is the Passion ?!?!?!

Where is the Feeling ?!?!

Where is the Truth ?!?!?!

Where is me Dope ?

CraigP I have a feeling I'm gonna love Neo-Con... The Stones are punks, always were, always will be. It's just that they haven't been very political in the past... Fuck Bush, fuck war, fuck politics, and the U.S. government... listen to the Stones. (I agree: fuck the ticket prices also). That's all.
Amen Steel Wheels!
