M.O.W.A.T. Rod Stewart - Absolutely Live (from his '81 tour). I had forgotten that at one point in time, Mr. Stewart could really rock out.

Bloozehound I had a little Xtra X-mas jingle-jangle going on in my pockets right, so I go down to the local record shop to relieve myself of this pent up holiday flow that's been weighing my pockets down, and what do I run across? Well lemme tell ya, while cruising through the used cd bins I spy a semi-used, digipak of Ronnie Wood's Slide on This for only $7.99.

Wow, what a bargain! I don't think this cd is in print anymore and I ain't heard it in years, but it's GRRRRRRREAT!!!

Slide on This!

Man, their debut album is a masterpiece... that Paul Di'Anno was a hell of a singer.... puta que pariu....

Nasty Habits Hey JJF, I was diggin' the double DVD compilation, The Early Years, just yesterday. They really were outside the ordinary confines of 80s metal, and if they're not in a class with Motorhead, they are their own special entity for sure. Aged lots better than, say, Rush.

Do you mean that one with a superb documentary in one disc and another with 3 different gigs (one with Paul Di'Anno and 2 with Bruce)?

I'm crazy about the first works of Judas Priest in the middle 70's and early 80's. Fine stuff! Give a try to your ear.

Cheers!

I got that DVD! Great stuff! Hopefully they will put out a part 2 with Behind The Iron Curtain, Live After Death and the Donington 88 footage thats sure to exist.
They definitely aged real well, Brave New World was an amazing album, probably my favorite of 2000 and the last one aint bad either. They still put on a great show and one of the few "classic" bands that can get away with a setlist heavily centered on new material.
