Altamont Unless they play something they haven't played before, this show is a bust. Everything they soundchecked today has already been played this tour except Monkey Man. Not a good sign.

Going to a Stones show and expecting a different setlist than the usual for the past 30 years, is insane. going to a Stones show and leaving not feeling rocked the fuck out, is sad!
I predict a great show, typical setlist and a goodtime had by all!
If they change the setlists, the terrorists win!

Stones proved they could mix it up pretty good on the Licks tour, now they're just fucking lazy with the set. Or Mick is just afraid to take any chances. They desperatley need to change things in a big way. Guess we'll find out in a couple hours.

andrews27 SomeGuy, where is that signature quote about the LIRR and Walter's from? I've heard it, but lost where. David Mamet?

That would be nice, but it sounds an unlikely choice dont ya think?

Its much shorter and doesnt really allow much room for jamming

I think its a cert they'll do Sway (not played in Boston this tour) and Streets of Love (not played in the US to date) as well as the songs already mentioned

The fact they soundchecked Paint it Black - could that mean its the opener? I'm amazed theyve never opened a show with it. That intro is just perfect for starting a show

Maybe the B stage isn't moving as far this time. Since the people at the other end only paid $22.50, they don't deserve a B stage set.

Its the Throbster. Looks like he's made a couple of the chicks behind him pass out already.

Is he playing "pocket billiards" in that pic?
