GhostofBrianJones Yes Sophia you are right. I don't know why we get such moron presidents either.
The only thing I can figure out it NOBODY really wants the job. So we end up
with nitwits. The worst President we have had was Richard Nixon, and George
Bush is coming in a close second. But it is very important the we learn from our
mistakes and anytime is a good time to do this. Maybe Dick Cheney should
have shot Donald Rumsfeld!!

Yes more Brian Jones Pictures, Hear! Hear!

ROCK ON IN THE UK AND THE USA AND EVERYWHERE ELSE!!

BRIAN JONES FOREVER!!!

EVERYONE HAVE A GOOD EASTER HOLIDAY!!

GhostofBrianJones Look at that arm thing Keith is wearing on his right arm. The one with the
red beads on it. Does that kinda look familiar?? Didn't BJ have something like
that he liked to wear a lot?!

brother_casey Can anyone supply me with a high-res copy of this picture:

http://www.thebeatles.com.br/pics2/beatlepeople/stones-beatles/brian-jones-sitar.jpg

?

I know it won't show up here, but if you cut and past the link, it should work.

Many thanks.

GhostofBrianJones Does anyone know how a person can get into Rex Features? I applied due to the fact I am going in business for myself and do articles/photos for my area. How
come they make such a big deal out of getting to their pictures? I think
Retna is much better but Rex does have some decent old Stones pictures with
BJ. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you.

GhostofBrianJones I logged onto www.rexfeatures.com. It instructed me to send a letter to the
person in charge of picture sales and explain why I wanted to use their
pictures. So I thought of what I thought was a good letter. Used my credentials,
and references so I am waiting to see what they will say. Have to wait until
4-18-06 for a response. You can get in there and see the pictures but they
are thumbnails and can't click onto them to see an enlarged version. Had few
problems with other sites, sent a very respectful letter of application, but for
some reason this site is kinda reluctant to let people in.

Will ask around to see if someone can help me. If you know a person who has
their own business this could help. Maybe we will discover an answer soon.

Thanks much.

Sophia Graves i am curious what you wrote in that letter.. i hope it works out! there are so beautiful pictures!! it really starts itching in my fingers when i watch the thumbnails. i dont understand why they want to hide all that good stuff away! >:[
i think thats not fair. everyone should be able to see.
i will ask around in my friendcircle.. some of them are webdesigners and do design for music..and one of my friends from scotland is actually owning the music-magazine "clash"..maybe he has an account there!?!! just got that idea.. i will ask him too! and if he hasnt got one yet i will make him curious and falling in love with that site..cuz he ADORES brian!! hehe

GhostofBrianJones I like the Mankowitz picture better. Good Luck on getting your friends into
Rex Features. Retna has about the same thing and they were much easier
to get into. I cannot figure out what Rex's problem is. I think it is kinda
ridiculous. There can't be THAT many people wanting old pictures of the
Rolling Stones to not allow people to get into them and click on for a larger
picture. Keep us posted.

Sophia PM for you.

so are you in retna yes?
dont you have to pay for an access? i dont think either that so much people want to have old photographs of them.. and even if so then i wonder what the dickens they think those people will do with them? i mean mostly people want them for a private pleasure! thats what i want to and i see no reason to make money with that. those pictures are old and most people know that the people who own the rights and who took them are either already dead or old old grandfathers! hahahahahah!
oh and yes, i love mankowitz as an photographer! he's really good in that.

linda, PM for you too!!

ps. thank you s&k for that gorgeous avatar!

GhostofBrianJones Hi S&K! Wow look at Mick! YIKES he was SO young there! I can remember that
too. I think he looks better now for some weird reason, he looks like he is
about 20 there but he is a lot older. Geesh I must have been in middle school
or starting high school. Am going to see if I can find some of my old sixties
mags downstairs and if I do will scan. This is too much nastalgia. But it was
great fun. Keep up the good work. Loveya

GhostofBrianJones Oh S&K You are such a doll! That is the picture I love so much. Also there
is another one if you ever find it, that is like that but basically smaller(?)
I am still attempting to get into Rex Features. They seem really nice so far.
I have had more trouble getting into US photo agencies then ones from the UK.
But we shall see. How did you get it so BIG? I am going to play around with
my Photoshop and see what kind of features I can use. Photoshop has "aging"
features on it, and this should be interesting. Need a good one of BJ or someone
to experiment with. Watch me mess it up good.

I see Brian has on what we might call "wading boots" in that one where he is
surrounding by his band members. Bet those things are hot!

Anyway thanks for the picture! Keep up the wonderful work!

GhostofBrianJones Hi! I see my picture is there again! I looked at MP and can't find that picture.

Keep up the good work and will try to find and send more piccies. Loveya.

GhostofBrianJones WOW look at how pretty Dead Flowers is!! What a beautiful woman!! I know she
has to as the old folks say "beat the guys off with a stick".

Am still working on finding more pictures of BJ. Sometimes it seems like someone ate the darn things! Or they are so buried in some site that you have
to be psychic to find them. But those who seek shall prevail. I hope.

Keep up the great work on the greatest RS. Love ya S&K
