That is a great picture. He looks like he is drowsy or intensely listening to the

it really looks like brian is totally high.. his eyes are almost closed, he kind of lost his expressions, very slowley in this video and his eyes are very red... i think i smoked a bunch of weed. and not more. |

I have heard that but I was giving him the benefit of the doubt since there is
a RED filter on the picture probably from the camera lens or the film itself.
He was supposedly stoned at that session but since I have NEVER smoked weed,
I am unable to tell. I have had to change the color on many of my piccies cause
there was a redness to them that was not natural looking and when I did this
it changed the appearance of the picture entirely and made the person look
like I imagined they would if in "natural" light. I can maybe do the same with
this one and see what happens. But he was stoned/drunk during some of their
recording sessions and other times. But I enjoy the videos and clips nonetheless.

i know what you mean, linda.. i dislike this red-thingy too! it is sometimes really impossible to get rid of it.
just wanted to say that in my we-love-you-video there is not the red quality. and there you can see his eyes are red and how stoned he is in there. i smoked weed when i was a teenie for several years, so i know what i talk about 
hehehe. |

Brian did a hell of alot more than just smoke weed dear...and he was stoned/drunk at more than a few of their recording sessions the last year or his life sadly...
i have seen that pic many times, it was very near the end, i would guess a handful or two of downs (pills) and lots and lots and lots of alcohol...with a little weed mixed in too... |

Yes I believe Brian suffered from major Depression and alcohol/drug abuse
to help him "cope". It was very unfortunate that they did not have the therapy,
rehab and counseling in place back in the Sixties like they do today. Maybe
if he was still alive he would have had the opportunity to receive these benefits
and have stayed clean and been even more productive. |

there is no need to tell about brians drug abuse. i think we are not totally off the tracks and think most brian fans are quite well informed about all that.
i think that in this video he seems very much on weed!

That's true, no telling what he took. I think weed alone wouldn't be enough for him from what I have read. Who knows, i'm sure he was messed up on something in that pic, probably a combination of several things. I must say he controlled himself rather well despite what others may say. I know I couldn't play all those instruments as brillantly as he did if I even I was sober. |

Thanks for the pictures. On the Vikings RS site they are selling a home movie
of the Stones when they went to Sweden which is where that pic S&K posted
is from where BJ is holding on to that girl's hair. They stayed with a Swedish
group and fans, and if S&K or anyone has seen it please let us know. The
film is about $20.00 and has all the original Stones. Don't know the year.
It is also being sold in the BJ fan club site as well.
I would just like to have a film of Brian only and more book with just pictures
of him but they are impossible to find. They all have the other members which
is okay but I just wanted BJ if possible. Wish I could talk Gered Mankowitz into
making just a Brian book but I don't think he would do that, would he??

here, my dear linda. i think you are talking about the documentation called "rolling like a stone".
it is the trailer for it. the whole documentation is in swedish but with english subtitles. i know about it and some facts behind it but havent seen in yet.
the trailer is beautiful..especially in the beginning!! how it starts, and then this music, the harmonica..and the impulsive moments and the whispering of the woman telling stuff like "this is me, inga and keith... mick and i... me and him speaking.. and brian.............."
i am not that good in swedish right now, its getting better and better..but i guess my translations are not the correct ones. but i watch the trailer nearly 9 times a day because i so love it.

Yes I just saw it and I loved it. I can't figure out how it got on my QuickTime
but I won't complain. That video of Keith is good but I can't shut the thing off
everytime I get on the board the video starts running. I like it but would rather
see Brian. I think I am going to check out my YouTube BJ videos. Thanks

maybe we should try to mail gered mankowitz...or should start a online petition!? maybe that would be a pretty good idea.
for example in the new issue of the german rolling stone is a stones special! 32 pages! and alot of photos of brian i havent seen before. thats the prove that all the photographers who took photos of and with them just did publish about maybe 10-20% of their work!! i want them to publish it all!!!
i bought this issue i talk about and scanned some photos. i will every day post one |

Mankowitz's site his email address is in there. I wrote him once
several months back and he was very nice. If you cannot find it
please let me know and I will send it to you.

UK accent or so it seems. Check out the one on YouTube with
