gimmekeef Dusseldorff is up on DIME and someone commented the Rattlesnake Slane is great and will be upped shortly.....
31st January 2008 08:36 AM
tumblingdice01 The trader who put up Dusseldorf and Frankfurt said that he has the RS Slane show discs and will be putting it up in a couple of days.

The Dusseldorf show quality is not bad and the extra tracks which are from Hamburg a few nights later are quite good IMO.
31st January 2008 10:55 AM
Gazza Slane is now up on dime. Thanks to midnrambler.

http://www.dimeadozen.org/torrents-details.php?id=181682

Are the Dusseldorf and Hamburg recordings any different (or better) than the versions uploaded some months ago?

I listened to the first 5 songs and it's one of the best sounding of the tour and it sounds like the taper was really close too.

I am in the process of transferring dozens, or maybe hundreds, of my friend's masters so I have don't have much time to listen to downloads right now.

I finally got an external hard drive in May for my birthday, and have barely burned anything to CD since. Sitting in my external drive right now, I have about 90 Dylan torrents (most of them 2 discs, plus the 11-disc Basement tapes reel) plus about 45 of the Theme Time shows, about 45 Stones shows, some 80 Springsteen torrents plus about 45 by other artists - and probably around 15 DVDs.

Its got to the stage where I'm dreading having to start burning them!

Gazza that is exactly why i don't upgrade my 30 gig HD. that way i am FORCED to burn the torrents to disc......sad but it works!!

2nd February 2008 02:14 PM
PartyDoll MEG I am so far behind...
Dylan torrents are back to last summer

Stones...haven't even burned any shows since the last leg of European shows except for London..

Bruce..don't even wanna count how many are on my external.

Stopped getting Ryan Adams as I have too many of them too (except I make exceptions for preemo shows).

And how many external drives can ya have? Once you burn the shows, when the hell do you have time to listen or watch them all? Then there is the problem..of where the hell you put them all...

It is totally out of control. Is this like an addiction?

Oh woe is me....

Started doing that early last year, Dan. Just havent even been arsed to do THAT since I got the External.
2nd February 2008 05:20 PM
Erik_Snow I burn all shows that's worth listening to, as well as keeping the FLACfiles. I can't listen through PC speakers.
There's not much point in downloading if one doesn't listen to it, and only preserves it. When it's over, it's over.

Its the same one thats been around for over 2 decades. 27 mins or so (first six songs). Its part of the (unreleased) "Ladies & gentlemen" concert film of that tour. The rest of the show has never circulated.

It actually circulated for many years before any audio of that show ever did. No audience recording of Fort Worth has ever circulated, and the video footage was all there was until "Handsome Girls" was released in the mid 90's.
