marko So finally here Lexinton Rupp Arena 29.6.1978

Lexinton,Rupp arena 29.6.1978

This an ok audience recording still, got the audiotape somewhere in
the 90ies...a long time ago.
I would say its from good---verygood,depence which way you look at
it.

Audiotape---nakamichi tapedeck(2of them)---harman&Kardon 20channel
equalizer---philipps standalone burner(twin deck)---waw-flac--you

Cd 1
1 let it rock
2 all down the line
3 honky tonk women
4 starfucker
5 when the whip comes down
6 miss you
7 lies
8 beast of burden
9 shattered

Cd 2
1 just my imagination
2 respectable
3 far away eyes
4love in vain
5 tumbling dice
6 happy
7 hound dog
8 sweet little 16
9 brown sugar FM,,radio broadcast#
10 jumping jack flash FM,,radio broacast#

sorry,no artwork again!

#:Iīm 100% sure,that these last 2 tracks are from Lexiton,they are
taken from old vinyl bootleg "Live from england" This bootleg had
the usual soundboard songs from Detroit, membhis and Houston, and then
these 2 songs, which to my knowledge, hasnīt been much anywhere
else.
I know,they are not from FT.worth,New jersey,Detroit or membhis,
and not likely from houston either,so it leaves us Lexinton.
But IF someone recognises where these 2 songs are REALLY taken from.
PLEASE inform as all,so we all know it then,THANKS!

Thanks a lot Marko, for the 78 shows.
I have "Southern Quotation" on LP (complete Greensboro show), seems to be the same as your Greensboro upload, I skip to do the tranfer my self.

Have I missed something or is this a mistake? I always thought we were missing the opener "Let It Rock" from Greensboro? Can someone confirm if we in fact truly now have the COMPLETE concert?

THank you in advance to all of you good folks here!!!

vox12string Thx for Cleveland, marko, I've only had part of this as mp3s so this is a welcome upgrade.

Rome 07, Belgrade 07, & 5 trax from Oslo are available, only got them as mp3s so can't help, sorry. Don't know about the others.

Urban Steel has posted a fair number of shows in flac format @ IORR, but unfortunately none of the ones you want

I have the original Wizards From New York DAC CD, but not with me, so I can't rip it right now..it'll take some time before I'm able to pick it up

Uploaded "Alive In Seattle" (DAC 062) to Dime last year, I'm seeding right now if interested

Yeah, me too, from master. But I think DAC improved it a lot. Often, the raw recordings are the best; but not in this Seattle case (IMO). I hear some prefer the SODD version though...but I don't
9th April 2008 01:52 PM
marko whats SODD btw? seattle is ex show,,btw has anyone seeded
here both frisco-75 shows?

Well, I think they ruin their recordings with their EQ work. Not at every release, but at many of them.
Also... they never come up with anything new, they just copy VGP CDs or torrents...after butchering it with EQ. Way too much treble. And when they do this mixing and hiss-removing, they take away some of the life in the recording...sounds un-natural.
Also; spellingerrors, poor artwork, a promise of being "taken directly from the master tape"...which is a lie.
But some of their CDs are OK, but nothing more than that.
