'Shine A Light' is the third live album to released by the Rolling Stones and serves as the soundtrack to Martin Scorsese's documentary of the same name.
Recorded in the autumn of 2006 at New York's Beacon Theatre over two nights, the album features a selection of live favourites taken from the band's huge catalogue of work.
Included are guest appearances from The White Stripes' Jack White, legendary blues guitarist Buddy Guy and American pop singer Christina Aguilera.

Please, BUY THE ORIGINAL CD as soon as it is available in the music stores. I know you'll buy it because we're all Stones fans and we like to have the original CD with the jewel case, booklet and all that. We don't want to have MP3s in our Stones' official or bootleg discography. Well, except POISONIVY

Remember, MP3 SUCKS !!!

Hey.... I'm glad not living in Australia, Greece or Poland only because they'll have to wait so long for the release date of SAL.

stalemate97_2006 Hi

I listen the MP3 (can't wait !!!).
First impression is that this not my best live album.
Sound is works too much for me (too clear). We can't hear people (even a little bit). It seems to me that this album is very "cold".

Hi Gazza,
I think it refers to the 3rd double live album (after Love You Live and Live Licks) in CD format, because Flashpoint was a 2 LP Album.

But I agee with you about most of the "reporters".

Erik_Snow Quiquestone, Flashpoint is a single LP - not that it matters much...
They chopped off Rock And A Hard Place and Can't Be Seen to make it fit on a single vinyl, but there's still too many minutes of music squeezed in on that one - as the sound is thin and lousy

OK Erik, I got it!
I had the doubt while posting because I have the thought I remember a double LP version (vinyl) from somewhere, maybe from Brazil! But I'm not sure and I'm benning to lose my memory!
