It got hacked, and now it is just gone. I'll keep checking on it, and let you know if it goes bak online. If you hear anything, please post it here.

Hungercity ISN'T gone, thankfully - but a technical problem has resulted in all of the data on the site being lost. It should be avaiable again within the next couple of days.

This admin message was posted on their forum yesterday :

It seems that the raid disc we had died! Wont go into all the technical side of things, but what it boils down to is that we have lost ALL data for the Tracker & Gallery! Basically, everything will have to be built from the ground up and "Blanco" is at present doing just that! It should take about 72 hours to complete, so as to be back online!

We tried everything to avoid this situation, but sometimes defeat must be accepted and gather the strength to rise from the ashes! We request your utmost patience in this time of troubles and hopefully you will remember to get back to us in the very near future!

vox12string There are 2 comments posted @ the moment regarding this torrent

"This torrent is rubbish. You download it and it says Download domplayer. U get around that and all this file is is an advert for some cheesy dvd burning software. Keith Richards is on his way around nicosucks place now to lamp him over the head with a stratocaster."

Stray Cat UK Salad looks "dodgy" - don't go there.

GotToRollMe I was able to access Hunger City one day last week and there was a message on the main page stating that they had no affiliation with Salad. They're aware of the emails and advised Hunger City members to ignore them and not to access the Salad site.
25th March 2008 10:52 AM
gonzalo76 So that email was fake ? I'm an innocent victim here !

I only registered there thinking that Salad was the "new" Hunger City site. But as soon as I registered there was no music or videos torrents there.

Anyway, Salad "..requires all new users to upload at least 1 torrent for the community within 24 hours of being a member here..." So I think I'll be banned soon, lol.

All the best,
Gonzalo

I did the same thing, Gonzalo...lol. I got the email saying that Hunger City was starting a new tracker about a week before I got the warning about it. I have a feeling we weren't the only ones to register there only to find out there were no music torrents.
Live and learn, right?

How right you are, Gonzalo!

Common folks, I'm begging here--Please please please someone re-seed this (pretty please)!
Been sitting on this since October of last year. The original seeder no longer has the files. Hopefully, somebody still has them and is willing to share.

Thanks in advance,
Luv
