DAMN,it might be so,that i cannot seed Seattle-75,EAC wonŽt
read disk 2!! Disk 1 worked fine!
CdrŽs are ok,no scrathes or any other shit, what might be
the problem? |

When you say "won't read", do you mean it doesn't recognize it at all? Or just can't rip?
If if it doesn't recognize the disc, check your ASPI layer. If it won't rip, it may be the disc brand. EAC doesn't like some types of media. |

Yeah, but the one on Dime (by gertkuijper) says "second source." So where's the "first source?"
EDIT: Never mind, Gonzalo76 has informed me that the first source of Twickenham 8-20-06 was an MP3 on IORR. Thanks, Gonzalo!

Hi!...
i think that twickenham 1st night 1st source is on iorr's hot stuff (the web place), but i'm not sure...
Edit..... Now i'm sure.... lolll
Hey!
by the way....
I have ALTERNATE DIRTY WORKS for you...
but it's in mp3.... but VERY GOOD ONES (VBR - Superior Quality). I know I can make good wav and good flac of it. I can also put some others in Bonus for replacing the bad tracks on CRUSHED PEARLS torrented here about 2-3 weeks.
OK.... i don't want to offense nobody with those mp3s, but i know that the source is Excellent Quality and that i can make a fuckin' good job.
So if you want it just ask it!
i can put (lossy source) in the title, O.K. for Ya?
Jah bless yaaaal

SirMuddy, turning an mp3 into wav or flac format is a waste of time, you don't improve the quality, you're only changing the format, but you do increase the size of the file without it sounding any better.
Some sites have a strict NO LOSSY torrents, others are more laissez-faire, I'm not sure what the policy is here, haven't checked out the rules in a long while, have a look in the bittorrent help section, maybe something there.
There are some of us here who are not particular about the format of our files & are quite happy with whatever's available be it flac or mp3.
There are others here who the mere mention of the word 'mp3' will turn into maniacal demons bearing torches & pitchforks just aching to burn you at the stake.
I would tread warily with mp3s here, SirMuddy, you would be received with open arms at IORR, They get the odd demon there but their torches are quickly doused, pitchforks removed & they are sent on their way, politely but firmly.

No Mp3 sourced stuff...
Why make a huge wav. file out of something that is basically still an Mp3 with inferior sound. That's like buying a really small car that get's 10 miles to the gallon. If I'm getting 10 MPG's I want the big fuckin' SUV...
See what I'm saying!!! If you got something in Mp3, someone has it in Wav format. I'll wait for that! |

Are you sure Noel Redding was on bass ?
According to http://www.nzentgraf.de/books/mt/taylor1.htm Andy Cleveland was on bass.
Line-up: MT (gtr, voc)/Andy Cleveland (bass)/John Coghlan (dr)
greetings,
Gonzalo
P.S: This is an AWESOME SBD recording !!!
[Edited by gonzalo76]
I was at this gig, it was in a small town in Hungary, called Paks, at a blues festival, Noel Redding had been drinking and doing coke since 9 in the morning so in the evening during the concert he fell down from his chair and could not play any longer so Andy Cleveland took over. It was a strange day and a strange jam. Then after a year I heard Noel redding died, I was not surprised at all. |
