New on the tracker something from the '72 tour "Charlotte N.C. July 6th ,1972(The Coliseum)". Now i can't remember where i originally got this but the info i have written down is:

xfer to cdr from master reel to reel tape

Although it is a audience sourced recording , the sound quality is very good for it's age. The vocals are upfront and the instruments are hi in the mix. Sorry no artwork if you have it or are willing to create some be my guest...........enjoy

I have Drippin' Honey and it seems it's not from that disc one. Drippin' is louder than this one and the song's length does not match.

I don't have Bring It Back Alive so I can't compare it but on the back cover says it contains 16 tracks because of track #1 Brown Sugar which is not included here.

Coincidentally "Brown Sugar" from Drippin' Honey was banned on DIME because it's available on the official movie "Ladies & Gentlemen". Brown Sugar is from June 25, 1972 2nd show, Hofheinz Pavillion, Houston, Texas

The question is: did you delete Brown Sugar yourself or your original cdr was without this song?

I have an interesting note:

CD1 of "Drippin' Honey" is in best possible quality (better than the VGP-054 "Bring lt Back Alive"). "Going back to the roots" (POW - 901502) or "Back to 1972" (POW 90 15 02) are less complete and run too fast.

greetings,

So I guess this one is not Bring It Back Alive because of the missing song and the tracks length.

I'm pretty sure craig62 knows something about it because he has 2 boots very similar with this one on his bootleg's page:

1. Shared by TornAndFrayed
lineage: master reel > DAT > CDR(3) > wav (EAC, secure mode) > flac (FLAC Frontend, level 8)
http://www.bootlegarchive.com/media_description.asp?MediaID=37289

2. Shared by Carl Morstadt ([email protected])
lineage: Master taper -> CD -> EAC -> WAVLab -> SHN
http://www.bootlegarchive.com/media_description.asp?MediaID=37329

Remember your info: xfer to cdr from master reel to reel tape...

I'll keep in touch

greetings,
Gonzalo

P.S: Personally, I don't like to have mislabeled bootlegs. I don't like to say that this one is Bring It Back Alive or Jungle In Spain because of the similitude of the tracks or date, you know what I mean ?
I'm not talking about you...
People don't like to have "non bootlegs" with no artwork at all, so they start guessing which one can be no mattering if it is the correct bootleg or not... very common out there.

Those times are mm:ss.ff, where ff=frames. 1 frame is 1/75 of a second. The very slight difference (1 second at most) you see in some of the times you have listed with these mm:ss.ff times is due to your CD player rounding something like track 4 (5:28.49) up to 5:29. When I put the disc in my DVD-ROM drive I get the exact same track times you've posted.

Your tracklist is much more accurate than the one that was in that database entry, so I've updated it. It didn't note the split of Tumbling Dice, and it had track 12 listed as Little Queenie. That's what I get for using the seeder's tracklist without checking it carefully against the audio. Thanks very much.

EDIT:

I received Michael's (TornAndFrayed) reply also:

These non-bootleg "lowgens" are the best versions of this source you can find which is no surprise because they are sourced straight from the master (the DAT step doesn´t cause any quality loss). The VGP bootlegs (Bring It Back Alive and Drippin´ Honey) are inferior and if you have these, you can toss them unless you fancy "silver CDs" and amateurish artwork ;-).

So... THANK YOU Michael for helping me too !!!!!!

And of course, thank you again cabledogg for sharing it !!
