That means we were, at the most, a couple of hundred yards away from each other at The Maple Leaf Gardens that afternoon. Stinking hot gig, Stevie Wonder was good too although it may have been the ergot derivative kicking in as well. I was living @ Spadina/Bloor in my first commune when Chum Fm had a competion to win tickets & records. The question was 'what early Stones record had fuzz guitar?' (& it's not the obvious one). Took me 1/2 hour to get thru but I won. Free tickets, some friends gave me the ergot derivative...those were the days |

LOL...Free tickets?..Jeez I camped out behind the Gardens on the sidewalk on acid for 2 days until they let us in round 9:30 to buy tickets....Yes..those were the days! |

09 - Let Me Go

12 - Waiting On A Friend
Lineage: Pro-shot > VHS tape > DVD > DVD Decrypter > Reauthored with Nero.
Thanks to Mr. D for the original discs and to Wattswood for the awesome artwork. (Artwork will be made available within the next week.)
NOTE: This show has been circulated before as 1 DVD, and recently as 2 DVDs, but the quality on this one is the best I've seen. It's your standard late-'70s/early-'80s VHS tape quality, but the incredible performance makes up for whatever is lacking quality-wise. This is a reauthored version with menu and chapters. On DVD 2, the encore, "Satisfaction," regrettably cuts off about one-third through, but I left it in because a little Satisfaction is better than no Satisfaction at all, imho.
Enjoy.

STONED AGAIN from July 15, 1972, Toronto uploaded by POISONIVY, is clearly mp3-sourced. A friend of mine downloaded a couple of tracks, and ran frequency and spectral analysis on them, and there is no doubt that they are lossy. The tracks also have what we call the "mp3 microgap" at the beginning and end of the tracks.
