je tente aussi d'avoir des places pour l'Olympia. Je suis particulièrement fâché contre rolling stones.com, qui promettait des places pour les clubs en cas d'abonnement premium, ce qui est faux puisque cela donne accès qu'au SDF et à Bercy. A moins que je me sois trompé? |

Ce système de hot line mis en place pour l'Olympia demain matin est complètement nul. On prime la chance et non le courage. En 95,les tickets ont été mis ene vente au Virgin Megastore. Celui qui était sur place à 3-4 h du mat avait plus de chances que celui qui s'était pointé à 8h et c'était normal. Il y avait un esprit de fan comme ça toujours été depuis que les Stones existent. Mais là c'est franchement n'importe quoi. Rollingstones.com un fan club?? Tout sauf ça! c'est une vrai dictature. On paye en tant que premium 95 dollars pour uniquement avoir le droit de réserver pour un seul concert et si on veut réserver pour un autre il faut repayer 95 dol!!! Il est où le Fan Club. Il en reste plus que le nom. L'esprit, malheureusement a disparu. C'est dommage!

Désolée, Erwan/Swan, mais RS.com l'avait annoncé depuis le début, en anglais, français, et plusieurs autres langues:
"Les membres Élite [Premium Membership] ont également la possibilité d’acheter, en prévente, jusqu’à quatre tickets pour n’importe quel spectacle (ou deux pour des concerts théâtres) avant qu’ils ne soient mis en vente au grand public."

Eh oui, la possibilité, pas la certitude! Et plusieurs discussions dans les divers forums de fans des Stones avaient discuté ce point: pré-vente ne signifie pas billets garantis!
Je suis d'accord que $95 l'adhésion Premium est un peu raide, mais personne n'était obligé 
En plus, le coup de l'attente toute la nuit devant le théatre, c'est pas très marrant! Je ne vois pas pourquoi on devrait distribuer les billets selon un quelconque "mérite". Il y aura toujours un "meilleur fan" (ou un plus rusé). Si les places sont rares et les fans sont nombreux, pourquoi ne pas le faire à la loterie, après tout ?

We are just as disturbed as everyone by the scarcity of tickets and the price of Premium Membership, but I wanted to remember the other Froggies that the RSFC did mention in advance that Premium Membership only gave "opportunity" to buy tickets at presales and it wasn't automatic.

Indeed, they stated everything very clearly, about no guarantees, about 1 show only, about max. number of tix per venue. The problem is soooooo many people didn't READ properly. Not saying you guys didn't or whatever, don't know your case obviously, but just something I noticed. People didn't read and got mad afterwards. |

You're right Bed, next wednesday 18th for Marseille tix sales. Keith's birthday.
Today was a crazy day impossible to get the call for Olympia Paris. 700 tix were sold.

Coming to this thread a bit late but the Astoria is an amazing venue to see bands at in terms of being up close and personal. It's such a small venue, you're really in the middle of it all. In fact I'd say the downstairs part is probably wider than it is deep. There's a bar at the back wall where you come in, then a barrier about elbow high (great for leaning on and having a drink while watching a show). You can then go down a few steps past the barrier into the main hall in front of the stage. In my opinion it really is a fantastic, intimate venue. There is also a seating area upstairs (it almost seems like it used to be a cinema/theatre) which is usually unreserved, but some parts might be sectioned off for VIPs at the Stones gig. You're bound to have an amazing time...I'm just incredibly jealous you got tickets...I didn't! Still, yesterday don't matter...enjoy it! |

you'll be happy to know that most of the tickets for marseille have been sold. only ones left are the crappy
ones in the far corners of the stadium.
(source: my local supermarket who sells the tickets)
and... there was a picture in the newspaper of me waiting in line to get the tickets. how is that for stardom?
(this btw is hear say, cos i haven't seen the pic myself)
