Topic: Browns grabbing national attention Return to archive Page: 1 2 3 4 5

WinslowStud This is going to be a good game. The national people are saying things like, "Expect another hard fought game between two rivals" and "Browns looking to close the gap" etc etc.

Naysayers will be proven wrong.

Lazy Bones ...while most teams receive international attention...
8th December 2006 09:13 AM
robpop The last time the Browns received any kind of attention is when they moved.

Sir Stonesalot The should just change the name of the Browns to The Shitstains.

When was the last time they beat a team from PA? Does history go back that far?

Apparently history doesn't go back to 2003, when we shellacked the Squeallers - in Shittsburgh even.

On behave of all Steeler fans I would like to thank the Cleveland Browns for kicking our asses that year. In doing so you helped us lock up the 11th pick in the draft. With that pick a certain QB out from Miami(Ohio)Univeristy was drafted. The rest is history. Thank you Cleveland for giving us the missing piece of the puzzle and helping us win Super Bowl XL.

You guys are the best. Your small moment of glory led to one of our greatest triumphs.

sirmoonie I never knew the Browns hated The Nation so much. Like I said before, we never hated them Brown boys. We thought they were like that dumb kid in class who comes from a weird home, but can fight when he needs to. We kind of admired them when we thought about them - which wasn't often, its busy work winning Super Bowls and racking up all those wins year after year.
10th December 2006 11:49 AM
robpop Right on.

The Browns won it all in 1964. They must have beaten somebody from PA that year. Of course, that Browns team no longer exists.

yup, 3-1 against PA teams. Even the lowly Steelers had to spank them once. A little taste for things to come.

Oh, please. Every name on that list was a quality player.

You're going to have to dig deeper than that. Still doesn't change the fact that we've won 8 championships and and Squealers only five.
