Ah! Thanks for that -- I had the first shot and these that follow, but was never 100% sure they belonged in session a. I think the purple jacket/gold pants look of the Circus might cause that confusion.

While we can never be 100% sure, but it looks very likely that the above pics are also from 1969. Also the shot of him wearing a black top/jacket with white polo neck.

Excuse me I misunderstood which pictures you were talking about. I thought
you meant the ones from the Rolling Stone magazine. Sorry.

There's a further photo by Eric Hayes of Brian 'sitting on a seat holding a harmonica and pointing' in Rolling Stone issue No.39 from August 1969. So if you have that issue, a scan of that pic would be much appreciated.

GhostofBrianJones I will look through my pictures hopefully tonight. My blood sugar has been
going up & down again, and if it gets low like around 90 to 100 I will start
to feel better. It is almost 70 degrees here and it is going to be warm this
week. I hope we don't go from Fall into Spring like we did one year some time
back. From what I saw on my weather list it looks real nice and cool in the UK.
We could use some cool weather here. It sure would feel better.

I will look and see if I have those pictures. Very outstanding posting Philip
are you on the LARS again as well? There is so many posts on all topics of
Brian I can't remember names sometimes. It is getting interesting.

LOVE TO S&K!!

zooeyglass Hi, Linda, I hope your blood sugar stabilizes [or whatever the right term for what it needs to do is] and you are feeling better soon!

zooeyglass Philip [and everyone!], since we're sort of on the topic of Brian/1969, I've been wanting to determine what I actually have of Brian in 1969. I'm wondering if you can enlighten me as to what I might be missing or what is actually NOT 1969.

I've got the sessions that Philip posted, as well as the other one with the polo neck you refer to. I have the ones taken by Helen Spittal at Cotchford/June 1969. I have some of these with Suki from what is supposed to be the premiere of Candy in March '69:

And I have this and another which I've got as David Bailey from April 1969:

I'm blanking out on the photographer [Cooper?], but I know this was Brian's last "official" picture, though I'm not sure when exactly it was taken but assumed 1969:

I may have others that qualify as 1969, but I'd love to hear back from anyone who could share or let me know of other pics from that year. Thanks!

GhostofBrianJones Thanks I hope it stabilizes too. Diabetes is where the pancreas gland is either
not working (Diabetes 1) or works part of the time (Diabetes 2). I have Diabetes
2. So the meds I take help the process. People with Diabetes l have to always
take insulin shots or some type of insulin. If the glucose (blood sugar) is not
processed normally as with those who do not have the disease it can cause
blindness, kidney failure, glaucoma, gangrene, and death. Too much glucose
can put a diabetic into a a Diabetic coma. Pain in the freakin' butt I say!!
Insulin makes the pancrease or helps process the glucose. If it is too high
I have too much sugar, if it is too low not enough. I prefer the latter.
Anyway, I cannot eat any sugar at all just artificial sugar. Like diet soda,
and sugar free stuff. I quit sugar but not my cigarettes, still puffing along.
Fortunately there is no sugar in cigarettes. So I keeps smoking. I know.

I will look for those pictures and see what I can find. Thanks for the great
pictures. I think those are from 1968 the ones with Suki except for the one
where they are lying down in the grass (at Cotchford Farm!) could be 1969
early 1969 maybe a few months before Anna moved in-not real sure. Suki
left because Brian was too much of a party bachelor as he always was,
and then she tried to come back to him when Anna was living with him.

I read somewhere where his driver Joan Fitzsimmons or was it Janet Lawson
would parade around naked in front of Brian and either Keylock or Frank
Thorogood (who killed Brian!!) got mad. I don't know if this is true or not
maybe someone can look that up if you have time. Maybe it was Janet Lawson
who at that time was Keylock's mistress.

Thanks again.

It is most likely that all of these are from 1969...

The Brian Suki pics of them at the premier of Candy(as were the other stones). Note the much shorter hair than his Rock and Roll Circus look. March 1969

The Redlands recording/rehearsing pics. (by Michael Cooper)

Olympic Sound Studios pics: there are atleast 3 different sessions covered, and probably the ones of him outside Olympic taken by fans/Tom Keylock!? March - May 1969

The two David Bailey shots. One with Brian and Suki, the other a close up of Brian lying down - April 1969

The Ethan Russel/Through The Past Darkly sessions - May 1969

The Helen Spittal pics taken at Cochford - June 1969.

Due to Anita saying in the Michael Cooper /early stones book, that photo of Brian in his 1967 Monterey get up gets credited as his last professional.

That could mean his last professional photo session with Michael Cooper of course. But it is from 1967.

The late 67/early 68 pics sometimes get credited as Brian's last photos, you know, the pics of him in some kind of red spanish type velvet coat and lots of scarves etc.

Dear Philip, thank you for this; I'd forgotten the Redlands ones until just now as I was posting. And I forgot to add the Darkly shoot, which I posted earlier.

The ones above I'm curious about.

I'm not sure which ones you mean when you say the ones outside the studio? Do you have these to share? I might have them and not know it, but all I can think of is one close up of Brian that I always thought was from '68...

And the Cooper one, THAT makes sense as I recognized his finery as being the same as from Monterey; as well as this one which made me definitely think it was the Cooper shoot AND Monterey.

Thanks again, Philip!

GhostofBrianJones Wonderful pictures and so big and clear!!

The one of him smoking, wearing the white weave sweater with the Vee
neck is also the one he is wearing in the photo on stage with the band
with the round lights at the edge of the stage. I guess they were taken
the same day as that performance. My all time favorites are the one from
Anna Wohlin's book where he is wearing that same white sweater, starting to smile and show some teeth and the one in the white robe staring into the camera with that sexy straight face!

The last pictures of Brian are the ones where he is wearing the striped pants
and striped shirt leaning against the tree, and leaning against a wall on his
property and another one next to that Statue in his back yard. Those are
the last known pictures, of Brian Jones taken by Helen Spittal. They are all in black and white. I think Anna was there at the time. Anna may have pictures
of her and Brian together and if she does she has chosen not to publish them
for some reason, maybe they are too personal and maybe too revealing.

Thanks for the pictures I love them they are so big and beautiful.

This was taken by David Bailey, same day as the Brian and Suki pic you posted earlier.

These were taken outside Olympic Sound Studios...

March 1969?

April - May 1969!?

GhostofBrianJones Hi Everyone! How are you? You know that picture of Brian
playing the piano in the white tee shirt? The one where he
is so serious and you can see the muscles in his arms and
he is playing some song so intently? Well that picture
makes me want to just jump on him so bad!! I don't know
what it is but I just want to sit down next to him and
get up in his face and pull him down on the floor!! I can't
help it. I must be feeling real good about now.

Hi Steve how are you? What's Up!?

It is 61 degrees here and we are all real climatized about
now. I think we are going from Fall into Spring.

Hope everyone has a good weekend. Philip we need you here.
We need all our wonderful Brian fans. Please everyone stay.

LOVE TO S&K!!
