My dear Philip, please don't be pissed off!!
I think you're misunderstanding the comments made here about the Museum thread -- those are in regards to other members' remarks, not what YOU were saying there.
I'm sure no one here considers debating Brian's musical contributions as putting him down. Honest debate about it pleases me to no end and you do it well! Alex is only teasing...

...you got that right, Lisa, thanks!!
Philip dear, I did not mean you...of course not ...if that come across by you this way...then I apologize!!!
For you, imagine this is a flower, no mushroom

Ok, that's me, blonde Sioux, behind beautiful Brian..
Just kidding, but I DO have an unusual picture of Brian
with a few people around him, and one of the girls bears
a striking resemblance to me. Funny, I just don't remember
being that close to our Brian...SIGH....lol |

I am surprised he is not looking at that blonde, she is really
pretty. He seems really preoccupied with playing his guitar.
If I had a guitar in my hands and Brian came down and sat
next to me I would put the guitar down and look at him,
right ladies? |

Oh, yeah, no question the guitar goes...
I'm so busy at the moment, but I want to check out that interview you mentioned, Linda, as soon as I'm able. Mancow Muller is from Chicago, my original "hometown" and I haven't heard him since I moved so it should be good. Thanks for letting us know! |

Brian is dead, God rest his soul! I love those early pictures, they remind me of a time & a place in the 60's, when it was a different world to live in, & stop! this making fun of Brian! that was when the Stones really shined, the Stones have never had a talent to replace him. |

I agree with you, but I'm not sure of the "stop this making fun of Brian" part. What do you mean? Who's making fun of him? |

Earlier there were people making fun of Brian in the earlier posts, by the way, thanks for that fantastic picture of The Stones in uniform (leather vests) is there pictures of The Stones in those suits that they wore on "Thank Your Lucky Stars" |

Been listening to Between the Buttons all morning.
Not one of my favorite shoots, but I like the backstory of Brian being "difficult" and burying his face in his collar. Always made me wonder what he was thinking that day.
I bet he was thinking it was damn cold. |

That was when Andrew Oldham controlled the band, I read Brian was being very difficult in those photo shoots, he'd hide his face, & so on. |

I'd have thought that but Mankowitz said that Brian wasn't feeling cold. Then again, I don't recall how he made that assessment so you could be right |

Yep -- I believe when Mankowitz got worried about Brian ruining the shot, ALO told him to go with it and it would reflect what was happening with the band at the time. |

If you mean this one ... welcome
I can imagine that you like this one as well?
Btw, I agree with you that no one can replace Brian...since he was gone, the Stones were unable to recapture his very specific sound...
Love to all my dears here

I see in the picture with Suki Poitier, Brian has camel toe.
Don't ask me to explain that one unless you already know.
Great pictures! They are all so clean and crisp in detail.
Thanks to everyone who shares theirs with us~ |
