Snappy McJack 30 cities on that itinerary -- I believe Cohl said 40 US (?) or North American cities.

So there's still more to go; probably in '06.

also plenty of room for additional shows there, and dont forget no theatre and only a few arena shows are listed so far

The San Francisco stadium show (s) isnt up yet and thats pretty much a cert for November 13 & 15

Snappy McJack Thanks, Gazza. Maybe something like this:

05-08-21 Boston MA Fenway Park
05-08-26 Hartford CT Rentschler Field

*At the most 2 dates added in between Boston and Hartford; seems more like 1 show, though.

05-08-28 Ottawa ON Frank Clair Stadium
05-08-31 Detroit MI Comerica Park
05-09-03 Moncton NB Magnetic Hill
05-09-06 Minneapolis MN Xcel Energy Center
05-09-08 Milwaukee WI Bradley Center
05-09-10 Chicago IL Soldier Field
05-09-15 E. Rutherford NJ Giants Stadium
05-09-24 Columbus OH Nationwide Arena

*One show in between Chicago and NJ

*Maybe 2 shows in between NJ and Columbus

05-09-26 Toronto ON Rogers Centre
05-09-28 Pittsburgh PA PNC Park
05-10-01 Hershey PA Hersheypark Stadium
05-10-03 Washington DC MCI Center
05-10-06 Charlottesville VA Scott Stadium
05-10-10 Philadelphia PA Wachovia Center
05-10-15 Atlanta GA Philips Arena

*One show in between VA and Philly
(Not likely, but possible show between Philly and Atlanta)

05-10-17 Miami FL American Airlines Arena

Dan Dont forget they took a week off here and there during the Licks tour.
Also in the off chance Fenway doesnt sell out, I doubt they would add a 2nd show and instead do either an arena show or another show somewhere else.
May 10th, 2005 07:29 PM
Gazza Thanks, Gazza. Maybe something like this:

05-08-21 Boston MA Fenway Park
05-08-26 Hartford CT Rentschler Field

*At the most 2 dates added in between Boston and Hartford; seems more like 1 show, though.

I think so too. It'll be a second at Fenway on the 23rd. As they dont play 2 nights back to back that leaves room for no more shows until Hartford.

05-08-28 Ottawa ON Frank Clair Stadium
05-08-31 Detroit MI Comerica Park
05-09-03 Moncton NB Magnetic Hill
05-09-06 Minneapolis MN Xcel Energy Center
05-09-08 Milwaukee WI Bradley Center
05-09-10 Chicago IL Soldier Field
05-09-15 E. Rutherford NJ Giants Stadium
05-09-24 Columbus OH Nationwide Arena

*One show in between Chicago and NJ

Madison Square Garden on the 13th according to rumours.

*Maybe 2 shows in between NJ and Columbus

a theatre show in NY on the 17th and a couple more shows before Columbus. The rumoured pair of Atlantic City casino shows would fit in that schedule just nicely.

05-09-26 Toronto ON Rogers Centre
05-09-28 Pittsburgh PA PNC Park
05-10-01 Hershey PA Hersheypark Stadium
05-10-03 Washington DC MCI Center
05-10-06 Charlottesville VA Scott Stadium
05-10-10 Philadelphia PA Wachovia Center
05-10-15 Atlanta GA Philips Arena

*One show in between VA and Philly
(Not likely, but possible show between Philly and Atlanta)

I think there'll be a second Wachovia show either on the 8th or more likely the 12th. or else a Philly area theatre show on either date (probably a theatre show)

05-10-17 Miami FL American Airlines Arena
05-10-19 Tampa FL St. Pete Times Forum
05-10-21 Charlotte NC New Charlotte Arena
05-10-28 Calgary AB Pengrowth Saddledome

*One-two between Charlotte and Calgary

as Dan says above, they tend to take a mid tour break of about a week. This might be when they do it.

05-10-30 Seattle WA Key Arena
05-11-01 Portland OR Rose Garden
05-11-04 Anaheim CA Angel Stadium of Anaheim
05-11-11 San Diego CA Petco Park

*One-two shows in between Anaheim and San Diego

an LA area theatre and arena show (rumoured to be at the Hollywood Bowl and Palladium on 6th and 8th)
In between San Diego and Fresno, expect some Bay Area shows (there will be a stadium show in Frisco on the 13th and probably Las Vegas MGM around the 18th

05-11-20 Fresno CA Save Mart Center
05-11-22 Salt Lake City UT Delta Center
05-11-24 Denver CO Pepsi Center
05-11-29 Dallas TX American Airlines Arena

*one show in between Denver and Dallas

maybe or maybe not. Isnt that Thanksgiving week? they took a few days off around that time in 2002

05-12-01 Houston TX Toyota Center

St louis is rumoured to take place after this date.

I find it inconceivable there would be only 1 show in Chicago. I would imagine that the January leg of the tour will see them return there for a couple of arena/theatre gigs.

an alternative arrangement could see another Chicago gig before Giants Stadium (a 2nd Soldier Field show has been rumoured) with Giants being the first of the three NY shows instead of the second one and the Atlantic City shows taking place at another time

Dan Looks like the Denver show is actually on Thanksgiving. I tend to get invited to my sister's every year but haven't made it yet. Maybe I'll take a shot at the general onsale and see what I can pull up.

Soldatti I heard solid romours about MSG in January too.
May 10th, 2005 10:38 PM
Sir Stonesalot That can't be it...they gotta be adding more dates...right?
May 10th, 2005 10:49 PM
Gazza right!

But its the same every tour.

this tour they're mostly getting the biggest capacity shows out of the way first. It stands to sense.

theyve stated there will be theatre shows. there are none on that list as yet.

Plus they dont tend to list a second show at each venue initially until they get an idea of how sales go for the first one.

There are 30 North American shows confirmed so far. I would expect the 2005 leg of the tour to consist of between 40 and 45 shows looking at that and basing it n the as yet unannounced shows that have been heavily rumoured (and the rumours we got prior to today turned out pretty accurate)

Plus, there will be more US shows in January for sure before they go to Latin America. I would predict at least ten more.
May 10th, 2005 11:14 PM
Snappy McJack People will be going to the Denver show on full stomachs, I guess.

Rolling1 St Louis jocks still saying we should see them in mid-dec. Sent savvis email last evening to try and get a yes/no or a feel. Maybe they will finsh the 1st leg here and do a ppv like btb tour. Can't see them stopping dec 1 then starting back up 1/7/06 too long of a break for this cash machine.

Hmmm... if memory serves me correctly from the last tour, they first put Gillette on sale as the tour opener and then suprised us later by backing the tour opener up for an earlier date at the Fleet Center, right?

but they have the clearance for aug 23. i do not think they have clearance for a date prior to the 21st (at least at fenway)...

True, and a good point, but Fenway is much smaller and intimate than Gillette... IMO. I have a feeling that Boston will get something else but we just don't know it yet. They did stadium, arena and theatre on the last tour so it just strikes me as odd that for tour opening city we might just end up with 2 Fenway shows this time. Strange to open a tour with 2 of the same, basically. If they are in fact doing the same as last time with the different sized shows in major cities. Just wondering...

agreed.

but the word i have heard (from here) mentioned 2 fenway dates - it would be easy that way from a logistics p.o.v. but i have no idea what they are going to do. hopefully it will be on the 23rd, though, as i wont be able to make any other date there...

Yep, Aug 21 and 23 at Fenway but I guess I'm hopeful that they pull the opening date back to like Aug 19th at the Garden (formerly known as Fleet Center) or thrown an Orpheum Theatre show in somewhere.

Just wishful thinking... that's all.

The first show in 2003 was on Jan 8.
