Better yet - start it with the opening credits of Gigli. It's mind blowing.

That is because ABB takes you on a ride, just as a great album should. Now, what makes this pace different from Stones albums in the past that it keeps getting better as the sucker moves into the latter half. It actually kicks into all out high gear with ONNYA and finishes stronger, perhaps than even at the beginning. At ONNYA it goes even more direct, and hard hitting than the first ten songs. ONNYA kicks A Bigger Bang into full throttle. It is as if after LWTHDI you think well what eles can there be at this point? Then comes Driving too Fast. And then, a different Keith type of tune for an ending. Not really slow, kinda up-beat, unique, and different from all previous Keith numbers.

They knew the norm of a slow Keith good night tune doesn't roll with ABB and that we have had that enough right to this point. They went for a up tempo finisher. What an album.

It is designed to give you the feel of a "no let up" type of album that just keeps churining harder and more hard hitting as it rolls to the end.

What an album.

ListenToTheLion ABB still beats the shit out of all their post Tattoo You albums. A striking comeback. No real weak songs and by fits and starts you can hear their genius.
Loved it from the first day and still love it.

Some Guy if you play A Bigger Bang in the middle of the forest, does anyone hear it?
11th June 2006 06:03 PM
Bob Tamp I really like it. Dont care how many copies it sold and dont care that it had no air play. Its solid, and it holds up. Dont listen to it for a couple of months and put it on, and it sounds real good.
