Not in the "early 80's".

Stones played it on the Voodoo Lounge/Urban Jungle Tours in '94 and '95.

Of course, it was still in the Dead's rotation then, too...

oops well I could be wrong about the dates..... my memory is a bit cloudy, but I thought it was around 81 or 82.

Yes, volume 4, totally intense and goes on forever. The Skull and Roses one is what I listened to for years before the whole bootleg thing started.

that one (2-14-70) wasn't just a show but perhaps the most intense music of the 20th century...that whole stretch from 'Alligator' to 'And We Bid You Goodnight' stacks up with the greatest hour of music anytime, anywhere
