Saint Sway Sai Wong
5th January 2007 11:38 AM
glencar Ah yes, old Sai! Alas poor Yorick, I knew him well.
5th January 2007 11:46 AM
Saint Sway Sai is dearly missed. Not sure what happened to him?

I was at the Beacon last weekend for Govt Mule, so I looked around under the seats and checked in the stalls to see if he had inadvertantly been left there passed out. No sign of him..... but the bar did look very depleted

hmmm....

glencar "but the bar did look very depleted"

Yabbut that could also mean Lauren Hutton was back in the venue!

they played 3 nights. Brought out a bunch of guests.

Highlight for me (ahem... are you paying attention Voodoo??!??!) was 2nd night when they closed the show with Gordie Johnson doing Humble Pie's "30 Days In The Hole > I Don't Need No Doctor"

the NYE show looked nuts... 3 sets. With Gordie (Big Sugar), Toots & The Maytals, Greg Allman and others... Gordie did Stones "Play With Fire" to open the 2nd set

I caught North Mississippi All-Stars opening set. Luther's a sick guitarist

we tried

we all tried

but nothing could over come the endless Pug humiliations.

JB had positioned himself too close to Pug's flame and had to flee to salvage what little dignity was left

dont blame yourself

blame Pug
