GhostofBrianJones Anita was dressed so beautifully that night. She looked really pretty.
I told a friend of mine when we were both looking at this same picture
that if Brian would get any closer to Anita she would be on the floor!!
Well it sorta looks that way, the expression on her face is telling him to
back off and get out of here?

Keith and Anita were a different story. They looked good together as with
Brian but Keith's personality and patience is what made it work for the
most part, at least that is what I saw, could be way mistaken.

So let's continue to post those beautiful Brian Jones pictures.

LOVE YOU S&K!!!

Olivia and Sophia Hi!

I have magazine on the Stones and I suspect it is written in German.

If I scan it would someone translate the parts I send. If someone will provide
me with an email address, I will scan it. Thanks to all.

ComeAsYouAre I like the above-photo of Anita and Brian because it's the first I've seen of them the night they first met.

GhostofBrianJones The picture of Brian and Suki, was that date for that picture given as
1969? I thought it was 1968. The reason I am asking is it wasn't long until
Anna Wohlin moved in. And I was trying to figure out the time line with
when Suki left Cotchford and when Anna came in. I bet it's close isn't it?

LOVE TO S&K!!!!

Hi to everyone and thanks for the great pictures.

The book I scanned it from did indeed give the date as March 6, 1969, but who knows? Here is the caption:

Just weeks before his imminent dismissal from the Stones, Brian enjoys a rare night out with girlfriend Suki Poitier, for the premiere of the film Candy at the London Pavilion, March 6, 1969.

The book is 365 Days.

GhostofBrianJones Okay thanks I was just trying to get a timeline on the ladyfriends moving in
and out. Apparently a short time later Anna must have moved in. I read
where Suki came to his estate looking for him again. She talked to Anna
but I don't know what was said. I also read Anita called at Cotchford Farm
to speak to Brian but what they talked about has not been released as far as
I know.

I have some articles from Mojo and other magazines from the UK if anyone
is interested. If you will give me your email address I will be happy to send
them. I am also looking for a site to add pictures of Brian in. If anyone
knows a site where I can add pictures please tell me. I would be glad to redo
a site if the Owner wishes. Or I can just add or email the pictures and whoever
receives them can go from there.

LOVE YOU S&K!!!

Okay Sophia I will try to scan that magazine for you. I THINK it's German,
YIKES oh well we shall see. Love to you too Sophia!!
4th November 2006 12:17 PM
GhostofBrianJones I just thought of something. If Brian and Suki were going to see the movie
"Candy" wasn't Anita Pallenberg in that film? I know she was in a movie
by the same name. Here we go Brian and Suki going to see Candy a movie
with his former flame in it. Boy I bet Suki was less than thrilled to see that
movie.

Why not start you own MSN group? It's very easy and there is no limit on quantity of photos. I don't think there is an MSN group on Brian so you'd be the first. I can imagine how frustrating it may be to not have enough room for you pictures/articles. I know some articles take up a LOT of room. You could create an MSN group within seconds.

GhostofBrianJones My girlfriend has two sites on Brian, on MSN, one is The Late Great Brian Jones
and the other is Brian Jones in Photos. Both are excellent and beautifully
organized. I am going to go there and add pictures, and invite others who
love Brian like we do. I think that other site is in hiatus for a while but not
sure.
4th November 2006 11:16 PM
GhostofBrianJones Speaking of photos, what kind of expression does Brian have on his face
where they are with those girls? The one before my messages. I can't figure
out if he is disappointed with the girl who is looking at him from the side
or what the heck that expression is supposed to mean. Any ideas?

GhostofBrianJones Phillip I love your avatar of Anita holding a 9mm camera. I have read that
she had one all the time when she was out with Brian but I don't know about
Keith, or Mick.

The links are I think, BrianJonesInPhotos, and The LateGreatBrianJones
@msn.groups.com. Rolling Stones40 Years is also on MSN probably at the
same link of @msn.groups.com. If this is incorrect please let me know I am
doing this from memory now.

Hi Sophia, will scan today or tomorrow. My sinuses are killing me today.

Sophia Graves

i scanned some new pics from the german rolling stone issue.
this photo was taken in wien/vienna. in this moment charlies wife shirley is reading out loud some article about the chaos they left in berlin.

(hey olivia.. you accidently posted your last post thrice! you can delete the two if you want.

linda, do i have to be a member of msn itself? is it possible to join there with my normal email-adress instead of getting a msn-mail?
another option to upload loads of photos and articles and to even arrange as much folders as you want would be an "open" photobucket account.. i think you can command in the settings if only you can upload or others too and if only you can watch it or visiters too. )

Fresh probe urged into Rolling Stone's death
Last updated at 15:51pm on 6th November 2006

Brian Jones died in 1969 when he drowned while taking a midnight swim at his Sussex mansion

Calls were made today for a new inquest into the death of former Rolling Stones guitarist Brian Jones and for his body to be exhumed.

Jones, a founding member of the legendary rock group, died in 1969 when he drowned while taking a midnight swim at his Hartfield, Sussex mansion.

There have been a number of conspiracy theories about his death and his girlfriend at the time, Anna Wohlin, believes he was murdered - claims repeated in last year's film Stoned.

The Coroner recorded a verdict of death by misadventure but a new investigation has cast doubt on the official account that Jones drowned after taking a cocktail of drink and drugs.

A BBC documentary will tonight show how Jones, 27, had drunk the equivalent of only three-and-a-half pints of beer and the drugs found in his system could have been prescribed sleeping pills.

Trevor Hobley, who has spent more than three years probing the death, will present his dossier of evidence to the Attorney General in the hope of getting a fresh inquest.

Mr Hobley, 56, is the chairman of the Brian Jones fan club, and has hired a team of forensic experts and a lawyer to help his investigation.

He said: "We have come across some really damning new evidence - between the BBC, myself and the lawyer - and we are going to present it to the Attorney General in an attempt to have the death by misadventure verdict replaced by an open verdict.

"This will then allow us to go to the next stage of having a fresh investigation and a new autopsy."

Mr Hobley believes the only way to get to the truth of what happened to Jones is to exhume his body from its grave in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire.

He said: "Brian Jones is the silent witness that carries the exact cause of his death and the only way that we're ever going to get to the truth is to have Brian Jones' body exhumed.

"Distasteful as it might seem to some people, this is almost an inevitable consequence of what I've discovered over the last three years."

Mr Hobley claims to have uncovered evidence which was not available at the inquest, and to have new witnesses, but he refused to disclose any further information about his investigation.

He agrees that Jones was murdered and claims to have uncovered a number of possible motives for killing the rock star.

Mr Hobley said: "I state quite categorically that I'm 100 per cent certain that he was murdered.

"For any murder, you have to have a motive, and the thing I have done is that I have uncovered possibly two or three motives."

Tonight's edition of Inside Out West will feature Mr Hobley's investigation and he said the BBC hopes to follow his future progress as he bids to get a new inquiry into the musician's death.

He said people did not appreciate Brian Jones' contribution to the band.

Jones shared a flat with Mick Jagger and Keith Richards during the early 60s and came up with the band's name.

He was a key part of their sound until he was asked to leave the band in June 1969, three weeks before his death, after the other members tired of his hedonism.

Mr Hobley said: "He did start the Rolling Stones - if it was not for Brian Jones the Rolling Stones wouldn't exist.

"There's a legacy there that needs to be shown for what it was."

How is exhuming his body "going to get to the truth?" The thought is dreadful, but I guess if his parents and loved ones don't have a problem with it....

GhostofBrianJones Thank you GotToRollMe that is what I have been trying to explain
why many of his fans want the investigation. Some people do
understand and other do not. I think Brian deserves to have
justice for him, even if it means rounding up people who are
still living (like Tom Keylock who knows a HELL of a lot more
than he says) or just setting the truth out once and for all.

The other band members did NOT have anything to do with
the murder just some of the people there that night, the ones
working on his estate. I have often wondered why the other
band members don't help out with the investigation but if they
are they are doing it privately. Do not know.

I do like the Rolling Stones, in fact Mick looks better now than
he did when he was really young. He looks damn good for 62!
Keith is fortunate to be alive and Charlie looks just as cute as he
always was. I can even remember the first photo I ever saw of
them. Maybe I will send it to Stewed and Keefed. It was in 1964
I think and I was 14 going on 15 that summer.

Love You S&K!!
