Yes her name is Donyale Luna and she was a model. She died from Drugs in
1979 over in Italy maybe Rome. There are sites about her that briefly
describe her career with modeling and with Andy Worhol. Donyale is only
a part of her real name. I think her real first name is Grace, not sure.
Brian asked her out backstage, but don't know if they went out or not.
She was one of the first African-American models of the Sixties. She is in
Rock and Roll Circus. I have not seen it yet.
An appreciation thread would be great. Maybe someone can find out more
about her for us. I would like to know more about her as well.
I noticed Brian spoke to a lot of people while making that film. I don't know
if he associated with the other Stones or not during the making of the film.
It was recorded on a Soundstage in London if I have my info right.

Yes it does. I thought I read or was told he asked her out backstage. Wasn't he
with Suki during the filming of RNR Circus? She was a beautiful woman and
appears to be a friendly lady as well. Great pictures.

Just out of plain curiousity, are any of those BJ with Donyale Luna that were
posted in color. I mean the ones where there are four of them in a row
and them S&K shows them larger? I have never seen them in color so if
anyone has those series of photos in color, please post. Thank you much.

Hi! With reference to the series of photos of BJ and Donyale, at the top where
there are four of the smaller photos, would it be possible to enlarge the second
one from the top? That is an interesting picture.
