Doxa, are you referring to that picture of Marianne with Mick Jagger in the
Chewbacca coat and Brian with the beard, turtleneck and coat? That was
taken in 1968 at a party.

Yeah, that's the one. Was this also about the time when The Beatles guys started to grow their beards? Mick and Brian quickly made the (only right) conclusion that this is not their cup of tea (Jagger had his short Rasputin phase in the late 70's though). Funny, I never seen any bearded pictures of Keith; few unshaven ones from his druggy period, but that's it.

GhostofBrianJones It could have been the same time the Beatles went bearded. I can remember
that very well I think. It seemed to be a fad for a while. Did Bob Dylan ever
have a beard? I can't remember anymore. I guess beards come and go. I see
where the long hair of the way past is coming back. I love long hair on guys!
Those buzz cuts are boring. Brian had extremely beautiful hair like on
RNR Circus. I could have just abducted him and ate him up.

I wish I could find a picture of Brian in a man's thong!! WOWEE what a
desktop or screensaver. But no such animal exists. We must keep trying.
I bet one of his girlfriends have some interesting photos. Hmmm........

LOVE YOU S&K!!!!

Hi to everyone else who loves Brian and post pictures and messages.
Keep up the great work!!

WJ Please edit your post to remove any mention of man thongs.

Thanks in advance.

GhostofBrianJones Hey WJ since when are you posting on THIS thread? You don't even LIKE
Brian anyway. And I have read many, many of your other posts and I notice
you and the others talk about more racy stuff than man thongs. I meant
a man's low cut swimming trunks or sexy underwear for a man. What did
you think I meant? You guys sure post a lot of picture of women in thongs,
so why can a female ask for the same in a HOT looking man? Like I said
there isn't a picture of him in one anyway, at least that has been put on
the internet. And that dude with the lawnmower is funny!

Okay back to our regular Brian Jones thread thank you.

WJ Linda, I don't usually post in the Brian thread because I'm embarrassed to be a fan. I like to think I'm not the typical fan; I don't hate his parents, I don't want to see him dug up and I have never been institutionalized.

You said a THONG, not low cut swimming trunks or sexy underwear. No man, no matter how hot, would look good in a thong!

Oh, and.........YOU GO GIRLFRIEND!!!

GhostofBrianJones I am not enthused about exhumations either. But they have solved many
murder cases for many years. Just watch CourtTV, A&E and Discovery.
Brian is NOT in his body anymore so I don't think exhumation would
do anything to disturb him. What is everyone thinking anyway!?!

If this provides answers to his demise that were unknown before I would
definitely want to know. He is supposed to be buried 10 feet down in a
bronze and steel lead sealed casket. His remains could show what happened.
They have so much advanced forensics technology and procedures, tests
that can be done is nothing short of spectacular. If anyone here knows
someone who died and the cause was not known and you cared for this
person wouldn't you want answers? I know damn well I would!!

So WJ you are embarassed to be a fan. Well I am NOT!! There is nothing
wrong in remembering someone who was a great musician, started a
fantastic long lasting legendary band and remembering him in a way that
makes you feel comfortable. I can identify with a lot of what Brian went
through during the Sixties. I also don't like people who lie, cover up or
hide the truth. I want to know what the hell happened to Brian and if
no one else cares then knowing I do is good enough for me. And I know
there are others who care as much as I do. Otherwise we would not be
having this wonderful thread. I hope all other Brian fans understand how
important to find out the truth once and for all.

LOVE YOU S&K!!!
Hi to CAYA, Olivia and Sophia and whoever else loves Brian Jones.

That's a funny picture! No smiles, boys! It looks like that Andrew have said something like "extra five pounds to one who looks the baddest". Sweeties Mick and Keith look like little cute boys posing to be angry, while Bill and Brian with their their stone faces and leather jackets look like mafia guys. And Charlie: he looks like thinking "this is stupid".

It could disturb his family. Would Brian Jones really want to see his parents put through the pain that would be involved with his exhumation? No way. He is their son and it is their business. Not anyone elses.
It is possible to be a Brian fan and not support all of this investigation hoopla.

Hmmmm... I like your interpretations of the photos.
8th December 2006 12:18 PM
GhostofBrianJones I WANT to know what the hell happened to Brian. And we cannot say
that his parents or Brian don't want this investigation or issue discussed or
whatever. Maybe his parents tried many times and did not get anywhere.
It is going to take more than his parents or his loved ones and friends to
get to the bottom of this murder. I would have to think the person(s) who
are responsible are walking around free if they are still alive. It is NOT fair
to his family, friends and others who are interested to keep having this
swept under the rug and ignored. It would be wonderful to be discussing
Brian's new music or his new group or whatever project he might be undertaking
now but unfortunately we are not, right? So we investigate this horrible
senseless murder and find out what happened instead. If you don't want to
talk about it then don't participate. Post a picture or go to another thread.
I am sure we all have had untimely deaths in our families and friends and
it is a tragedy but I would think people would want to know what happened
rather than speculate. No one want to see an untimely death unless the
person is a serial killer or maybe a terrorist or a rapist. But we are talking
here about the horrible murder of the founder of the Rolling Stones who was
not any of those people. He was just trying to get his life together but
lost it due to the volitile, raging crazy alcoholic Frank Thorogood with the
help of his crew and possibly others. I want to know and I hope others who
love Brian do as well. If you are not then I am sorry you feel that way.
