Oh yes, Alex.... Brian is the only guy I know who looked
absolutely breathtaking in sweaters and khaki's and hats,
scarves, and red pants....he looked wonderful in everything! He was the LEADER in men's fashion in the
60's....

thread, but it was overly full...lol
I just now saw your pix/comments about the comment I had
made about seeing the occasional picture of Brian that
didn't really look like him. Those were good examples
you put on the thread. The specific one I'm talking about..
it's backstage, and he is in profile and signing something
for someone. But I really don't even think it's him. The
nose is all wrong--longer and with a bump in the middle!
That's not our Brian's nose....I really think it's someone
else who was maybe on an early tour with the boys, and
the picture was just mislabeled. Or else Brian borrowed
someone else's nose that day..lol. He really does remind
me of Tom Petty in that pic... |

I wish I knew the one you mean, I did a quick look through my pictures and didn't see a Tom Petty
It definitely could be mislabeled -- but then again, you never can tell! The one I said reminded me of Andy Gibb? I had the smaller shot of just him and Charlie and I honestly thought it was NOT Brian until I saw the larger picture of all the Stones together. But I will say I've been duped by a couple shots in profile or out of focus before! |

Those are ALL Brian. They may not be the best photos of
him but no one else went on tour with the Stones but Brian.
Some photos look weird, and were not taken in the best light
or from the best angle but they are all Brian unless it says
not Brian. I have never seen anyone tour with the Stones
back then, but Brian, then Mick Taylor then Ronnie at present.
Tom Petty would have been way too young. I have some pics
that don't look like BJ but I know they are. Weird looking
ones too. I love that one where he is sitting on that settee
or sofa with the hat on and cross legged, he looks so sweet,
innocent and approachable, and handsome. Gotta love the
white socks and shoes. |
