Chico But what we taking into account here. How good a band is or perceived to be can depend on many things i.e. song writing, lyrics, musical ability, playing ability. Put them together and surely The Stones come out on top of The Beatles. No beatles could touch The Stones playing ability(72,73 live shows etc) And I would say, Stones songs if heard could touch a helluva lot more souls than beatles songs. I mean, what can you relate to, YCAGWYW, Miss You, LSTNT or Sway, OR the likes of Back in the USSR, I Just Saw A Face, Tomorrow Never Knows or Yellow Fuckin Submarine? OK maybe a bit selective but ye know what I mean.

Factory Girl I just wanted to make a reference to what Nasty was saying earlier in the thread- GrandMaster Flash/Melle Mel were way cool. "White Lines(Don't do it)" is a TREMENDOUS tune.

However, rap in all other incarnations just sucks.
