GhostofBrianJones Sometimes I wish I was 41 but I am 41 years older than Anna. I am one of the
oldest living Brian Jones fans in the Universe. I am very glad I was a teen in
the Sixties. Anyway we are all young at heart. That is what counts.
Great pictures guys! Keep up the good work!!

Love to S&K!!

BriansBabe Linda, you not only young at heart, you also have a heart of gold...thatīs the way I think of you and the others here as well!! Itīs rare to find people like that, and Iīm really
glad and thankful that Iīve found those here...!!!

GhostofBrianJones That other thread about the museum is exhausting me. I am glad there is
a thread here with good kind wonderful people. Everytime there is another
thread about Brian it is like discussing organized religion or something.
Gets too off topic and way out there.

I have all kinds of wild, crazy stuff people send me that I would like to put
on here but I don't know how. Voodoo might get offended. Should stick with
the Stones I guess. I get stuff that is unbelievable. Anyway I am going to try
and send S&K some more photos.

Thanks for all the photos and stuff here, good to see all the great Brian pics!

woow, it's rare to find Brian fans under 20, the most of the teenagers even don't know what is the Rolling Stones...but i think they were like us now, just in the '60s and they were very modern in those times, that's why they became famous.

(sorry if i have mistakes i try to write better)

did you met Brian?
what were those years?i would try to live in the '60s
i always ask my parents what was like the '60s,did they hear about brian's death on radio...etc. but here, it was not allowed to hear about the West (because of our late system)
so i always got a line on books, online.

GhostofBrianJones No I never met Brian, he was here in the Sixties on July 12, 1966 the one and
only time that I am aware of. I did not go because at that time concerts here
were out of control and riotous. I was wanting to go but decided to wait until
they came back. Unfortunately unbeknownst to me at the time Brian would
never come back to my city. My friend who was a teenager and worked for
the local hip radio station back then told me the DJ went to the party for the
Stones when they came here. I will have to ask him about what the DJ said
whenever I see or talk to him again. He could not go with the DJ as he was
a minor. I would like to find someone here to went to the show back then,
but have been unable to do so. I know people who have seen BJ in person
and some who have met him but not from my town.

There are some good books about the Sixties to get. It is complicated to explain
in a message, but if you can find a good book it will really open your eyes as
to what was going on back than. It was entirely different than the 70's I can
say that. I enjoyed the Sixties even though it was turbulent and is still turbulent today. But why it all started is very interesting and informative.

GhostofBrianJones Another BJ forum is called Brian Jones Like a Rolling Stone where Brian is
discussed more in depth than on this thread. I guess we should leave this
thread to pictures and good conversation. Check out this other forum if
you wish to engage in further discussion about Brian.

Olivia1962 Me and a few of my friends are the only ones that appreciate the 1960s. The Culture and the Music. There are a couple Bafoons that think they like the Rolling stones, but they dont even know the history of where they started. People think i am from another generation becasue i read Electric Kool aid acid test or were flares and frilled moccasin shoes. Doesnt mater to me
19th September 2007 01:52 PM
GhostofBrianJones Yes those who are too young to have lived in the Sixties don't understand
the Stones era of that time. It doesn't matter to me either. There are plenty
of good books on the Stones that go into their lives during that era up to the
present. Some don't explain very much and others really do with good facts
and information. It takes a lot of reading on the Stones and the Sixties era
to be able to really grasp their meaning that is if you have not lived through
that time. There is an expression "a little knowledge is a dangerous thing"
applies to a lot of people who think they know but really don't.

This thread is for Brian Jones fans, and the others are for Mick and Keith
and whatever else. I don't care who hates Brian, or who is not a fan. That
is not my interest nor my concern. I am only interested in communicating
with Brian fans like myself and discussing him. The other Stones fans can
go where the wind blows. I am staying here and talking about Brian and
abiding by S&K's wishes.

LOVE TO S&K!!

Love to my other BJ Friends and Honky Tonk Man!! Thanks much!

BriansBabe It was and probably will always be a secret to me, why people post in threads about Brian, although they donīt care for him or interested in him...I will never understand this!
Every time when someone like that run Brian down, it hurts me very much, itīs like I feel it personally, you know?
But those people will never win, because no one can ever erase the deep love that I feel in my heart for Brian!!!

Brian, we will always stand by you!!!!

Love to ALL here, Alex

19th September 2007 06:43 PM
GhostofBrianJones Amen, you got that right!! We are sticking together. They can love the
Glimmer Twins and we can love Brian. That is what it is all about.

It does not hurt me when they bash Brian it only hurts them. I am not shoving
anything down their throat or making them say that. They don't have to
like what I like so be it. We also do not have to respond to it either. Just keep
going on doing what we are doing. That is all we need to do.

I agree, american girls tan at the fake booth until there skin turns orange, they were clothes that barley fit them. And the listen to Vulgar rap music. No appreciation for the finer things in life. I can't wait to get out of here, and move to the UK.

It gets old when people make fun of Brian, there the ones making a fools of themselves. They shouldnt even bother. No matter what happens no one can change my opion about him.

GhostofBrianJones I think they do it over there too don't they? It may be more diversified hopefully.
You don't have to follow any trends if you don't want to wherever you are.
It is not mandatory to do that. I dress the way I want to, and I don't follow
any trends at all. I can't afford the crap in Elle,Bazaar or any of those fancy
magazines. Those are just labs for fashion anyway.

For some reason getting a tan has always been a huge thing with people.
I myself am unable to get a tan because I am very fair complected. And I
don't care about it either. Never has been a problem. There is a word called
Panache, meaning a person who dresses in a style(s) that looks good on them,
not what everyone else is wearing. It does not make any difference where you
go or live, unless you are outside the Free world, you will find a lot of the
same things. I lived in Japan for three years when I was in my 20's and I wore
what I wore at home even though Japanese women at that time wore dresses
all the time. Those tanning salons can be dangerous, if a person has to get
a tan it is better to use a bronzing product. I had a male friend who went
to a popular tanning salon and they almost burned him good!!

Follow what you like to wear, and what you are comfortable in. I don't listen
to rap music, or any music of today, rarely that is. I have my own music
agenda and no one listens to it but me. Whenever you get to the UK let us
know what it is like. I would love to visit there sometime.

Olivia1962 Where i live in California, Girls are Snobs and Cruel, They all follow the trends in the stores and what is on MTV. I try and set my own trend i dont care what people think of me. Everthing is so commercialized.

Ignore my rambaling...

GhostofBrianJones Some people call the obession of following fads as being "sheep". Sheep are
sometimes described as people who have to go along with what everybody
else is doing and cannot think for themselves. Kinda like "Monkey See Monkey
Do". That is a song by the way Monkey See Monkey Do. (By Sam the Sham and the Pharaohs who also sang Wooly Bully by the way) (Those of us who are close to my age might have heard it.)

Anyway hope this week is going well for everybody. Tomorrow is TGIF so
those who work will be happy.

LOVE TO S&K!!
