It does not really say anything or mean anything it is just the Uniform that
makes most sane people angry. I am glad he did not do it again. I think they
should have put the uniform on HER!??

LOVE TO S&K!!

i remember him saying something about it somewhere...that it was anitas idea, yes...but that it was also meant as a protest..but that of course it was stupid as nobody would understand it cuz its just too extreme and stuff...yeah and he said he will never do it again, that he regrets it or something like that. i cant remember it completely.

and do you know where can get this, Limewire or whatever.(i can't buy it online)
30th August 2007 01:29 PM
GhostofBrianJones Just put the words LimeWire in the Search box of your browser and click onto
the main website and go from there. I have downloaded tons of old songs,
nothing new as I grew up with the super oldies. My downloaded songs go into
iTunes but I don't know what they would for your computers.

Check out the thread announcing the Brian Jones Museum as started by
S&K!! Watch out for sharks.

GhostofBrianJones You are so welcome BB. Hi Olivia! Hi Sophia wherever you are?! The picture
you posted is great Olivia, very clear. By the way one of our other posters is
a SF taxi driver, Pdog. Seems to really enjoy it.

I am glad Bill has those wonderful pictures in his restaurant. He and Brian
were such close friends and he always has something good to say about
Brian. I think maybe he understood him pretty good. At least I hope so.
I am really happy he has that beautiful gold Les Paul guitar, the one he
played in RNR Circus on the wall. He has so many beautiful tributes to the
Stones, and Brian. Rock On Bill!!

Love To S&K!!

Thanks again Olivia!

i would stroll around the torrent sites like http://piratebay.org or http://btjunkie.org
you need a torrent program to be able to download... the best one is ĩtorrent: http://www.utorrent.com/download.php
try to search around... i dont know where to get the film... but you should try all torrent sites that are available and somewhere like DC++ (which is similar to limewire). good luck.

have you seen the Stoned? what is it like?d because people say it is quite bad film...
31st August 2007 10:55 PM
Olivia1962 ^ i didnt think it was that bad, average would be the word to describe it. It should have been longer and showed the happier sides of Brian
31st August 2007 10:59 PM
BriansBabe Hi Anna, take a look in the īStoned` thread (from Gazza)...
My opinion is: Not so good as we all hoped for and not so bad as we feared

He should be Brian = LOL

Our Brian is soooo much better!!!!!!!

Yeeeeeees

GhostofBrianJones I think Leo Gregory who played BJ in the film is gorgeous anyway. I also think
he did his best in playing Brian considering with what script he had to work
with and the budget of $18 million. But to play someone like Brian it would
take a great talent like for example a Johnny Depp, or an Al Pacino, or
someone in BJ's age bracket with extraordinary talent like the two above and
I know there are more but I can't think of right now. And of course a much
larger budget and better script all of which Mr Woolley did try to get. I am
sure as time goes on Leo's acting will improve greatly, but in this film he did
not exactly capture Brian's character, his inner spark, his passion, his
intense moods. He was rather flat in that aspect at least from what I saw.
Brian was a passionate person who did everything with flair and intensity,
and was strongly motivated in his musical quests and dalliances. You could
feel his energy when you heard him speak, and when he played. Despite his
problems he was so full of life and energy and it all came across so much.
That clip called "Would You Let Your Daughter Go Out With a Rolling Stone?"
where he mentions the "Georgier Idiots" is a good example. He was a real
pistol in that one!! You could feel his anger and disgust at the way the cops
treated them in Georgia which was very typical of guys with long hair at that
time. He had Charlie cracking up!! Mick and Keith weren't pleased either
with that incident or the interviewer's questions by the way. And his long
interview in Charlie Is My Darling is another one where you can feel his
mood and expressions very well even if he is messing with the interviewer.
He seems to enjoy talking in some of their interviews which pleases me to
no end of course! I could listen to him talk all day....

yeah i've seen that interview and he can amaze people easily with his calm, soft voice (and of course his straw blonde hair!)...
Oh, god how lucky were Pat and Anita...

BriansBabe Yes, Leo try his best, he is an good actor I saw him in some other films and he was really good there.
To me Leonardo di Caprio were probably the one who could recapture the complex character and personal magnetism of Brian...

BriansBabe

I would be Keith in that pic...Wow, what a imagination...
1st September 2007 09:26 PM
Hibblette Personally I think Leo did a good job in the film. If he had tried to show anything beyond the public persona of Brian then he really would have lost the audience. It's a very fine line to have to walk when playing someone that recent in history.

To me the flaw of the film is they get too hung up on Brian's "supposed" mental breakdown and the possible scenario of the murder that they really forgot to show that this guy was brilliant. And that is were one has to shake their head and say what a waste in regards to the film and in regards to Brian's untimely death.

Iīve another opinion in that point. To me itīs the main thing of a film like that, to let the audience look behind the public person, the rockstar, the sex symbol, and so on...
