Some Guy Dudes!

Is there nothing I can say
Nothing I can do
To change your mind
Im so in love with you
Youre too deep in
You cant get out
Youre just a poor girl in a rich mans house
Yeah, baby, Im crying over you

Dont you know promises were never made to keep?
Just like the night, dissolve in sleep
Ill be your savior, steadfast and true
Ill come to your emotional rescue
Ill come to your emotional rescue

Yeah, the other night, crying
Crying baby, yeah Im crying
Yeah Im like a child baby
Im like a child baby
Child yeah, Im like a child, like a child
Like a child

You think youre one of a special breed
You think that youre his pet pekinese
Ill be your savior, steadfast and true
Ill come to your emotional rescue
Ill come to your emotional rescue

I was dreaming last night
Last night I was dreaming
How youd be mine, but I was crying
Like a child, yeah, I was crying
Crying like a child
You will be mine, mine, mine, mine, mine, all mine
You could be mine, could be mine
Be mine, all mine

I come to you, so silent in the night
So stealthy, so animal quiet
Ill be your savior, steadfast and true
Ill come to your emotional rescue
Ill come to your emotional rescue

Yeah, you should be mine, mine, whew
Yes, you could be mine
Tonight and every night
I will be your knight in shining armour
Coming to your emotional rescue
You will be mine, you will be mine, all mine
You will be mine, you will be mine, all mine
I will be your knight in shining armour
Riding across the desert with a fine arab charger

has anyone heard the version of worried about you -
from one of the mocambo shows......
he sings it in a normal voice....as much as i like the recorded version - i like it like this better...
it sounds like more an r&b song from the 70s.

oh yeah that is golden - one of their all time greatest live performances IMHO - well let's face it, aren't the mocambo shows the stones zenith as live act?? - the club venue being as important as the perfomances per se (compare e.g. Brussels - MSG '69)

anyway, the guitar sounds and bill's bass lines (this time it's bill for sure) - all of it - it's fantastic

the version of HOF that either follows or precedes it smokes as well

Throwaway if it hasnt been mentioned yet, the interplay between Ron's guitar and Bobby's sax towards the end is nothing short of beautiful....play it loud!!!

No shame in that...I can play the album start to finish, without skippin a track!

But let's remember, as a point for its inclusion into live shows; ER is not only a good song, its also the LEAD SINGLE and TITLE TRACK therefore commercially conscious Jagger should want to play it even for the casuals. Think about it: its pretty much the best lead single from any album other than SMU in the past 30 years..certainly better than YGMR and Miss You, both common in most sets.
