ATGB was a highlight for me at the shows I seen it performed at.

Bitch OH NO NOT YOU AGAIN, fucking up my life! I love this song, the lyrics are so fucking funny, and the riff is so cool too! OH YES to OH NO NOT YOU AGAIN. It rocks IMO.

A joke about a possible ONNYA scenario:
A guy was sitting quietly reading his paper when his wife walked up behind him and whacked him on the head with a magazine.

"What was that for?" he asked. "That was for the piece of paper in your pants pocket with the name Laura Lou written on it," she replied.

"Two weeks ago when I went to the races, Laura Lou was the name of one of the horses I bet on," he explained.

"Oh honey, I'm sorry," she said. "I should have known there was a good explanation."

Three days later he was watching a ballgame on TV when she walked up and hit him in the head again, this time with the iron skillet, which knocked him out cold. When he came to, he asked, "What the hell was that for?"

She replied, "Your horse called.

jb To me, if you don't hear either GS or MR, and preferably both, it is not a complete Stones show. GS, albeit not the fire and brimstone as played by a astonishing MT in Philly Spoecial, still embodies everything this band is all abour...same for Rambler.
19th July 2006 03:34 PM
Gazza LOL..not bad

Midnight Rambler is song #8. Hope we're not getting a 19 song set
19th July 2006 03:34 PM
PartyDoll MEG Sorry Gazza- Looks like Berlin won't get Rambler!!

so there were no proper Stones shows between 1976 and 1989 then?

Both songs were dropped entirely on the tours in 1978, 1981 and 1982.

if we dont we'll hopefully get 20 songs, however

Its looking like as of the Munich show, its down 1 song from Vienna/ Milan with 20 songs if they dont play MR and 19 if they do.

Mick is "going nuts" on MR apparently

78 was unusual set list to say the least-but it was Some Girls and the band was incredible.(Let it Rock) - 81, up and until this tour, had the worst set list ever.
