open-g IORR's BV reports:

The Stones performed a private show in front of some 700 people connected to Deutsche Bank tonight. It was a set of 14 songs, starting with "Start Me Up" and ending with "Satisfaction". Also they did songs such as "Ruby Tuesday" and "It's All Over Now". More details to come soon here.

FotiniD *sigh*... It's like they're out on a mission to let us down.

I was discussing this gig with my dad, who's not a Stones fan (i.e. is more objective ) and his opinion was that with such a legacy behind them, at this point of their career and with such extraordinary amounts of $$$ in their bank accounts, this was the most disgracing and cheap thing they could do.

I'm sad to say I agree

Your father is a wise man. You should listen more to him.

EELPIE did Blondie do an adequate job, covering for any
inadequacies on Keith's part?

Did Chuck and the horn section 'work the room', and talk business with the bankers, post-show?

This is about par for the course and this is what being extremely wealthy can get you! Again, I, sadly, must point out to everyone here that this was not a "Rocks Off Gathering" (or as some call it Summit). This was a group of business professionals who more than likely only know the Stones by Start Me Up, Satisfaction, and Its Only Rock and Roll.

By those standards, they were treated to an intimate evening with the Rolling STones with a fine meal and plenty of photo ops I am sure.

Lets keep things in perspective, the Stones are not out there just to please the VERY small niche of overly dedicated fans such as us. They are a business.

Jake Cohl now goes by "Jacob Cohl" and we should thank him for keeping as many of the stadiums appear full no matter how poor the sales were!

I still want Voodoo to post the picture of his tent though!!!

FotiniD Did you know that when you google "Jake Cohl":

a) the first result is Google thinking you mispelled the name
b) the second result is an IMDB entry
c) the third result is a post from RO asking "Jake Cohl is gay?"

Nice representation, lol...
