Nices Axes, S and K!
I have to say that, deceased or not, Brian is about the best looking guy I have ever seen. Beautiful almost.
What about his living biological legacy still here on earth? I have seen a lot of pics of Julian and Joolz (adorable and adorable), and a few each of two more sons (Mark and John). What about the other 3 children and their kids? Anyone seen any pics of them or their kids? I wonder what they are like.
Being a love child myself I have to wonder though too if the whole situation may have been an embarrassment to them and they don't want people to know who they are...I bet they are just as purty as Brian, though ;-) |

Thanks for sharing those guitar pix, Steve! Wow, I am duly impressed... Now, can you PLAY like Brian? lol |
|
BriansBabe |
Hi LoveChild, Iīve also only saw picīs from Julian, Mark and John...but not from the others ...that would be interesting!! I do not believe itīs a embarrassing for them nowadays, such things have changed a lot since back then...and to be a "love child" is no blame anymore!! I imagine or hope they are proud of her dad...
Dawn and John finally met each other:
Most of you may read this interview with Dawn already...but for those who not, itīs maybe interesting:

Another handsome son!! Brian's genes are strong. All blondes - LOL! |

Steve I am stunned! I had no idea you had 16 beautiful,
gorgeous, fantastic, wonderful guitars!! That light green
Gretsch is like the one BJ had right? And that Vox sends
goosebumps up and down my spine! (I love those Brown shutters
you posed them up against, I want smaller white ones like
that for my windows in my dining room and living room)
Can you play pretty good? The gentleman who is listed in
my signature on here is also on LARS, Kevin. He makes
MegaVibe pedals and he is the absolute best there is.
Maybe if Daryl Jones retires then Steve can take his place
on stage with The Stones?? That would be like way cool.
Thanks for the beautiful pictures, I love those gorgeous
guitars and our beautiful, handsome, loveable Brian.

Wow steve that vox teardrop is out of site!! |
|
LoveChild |
I didn't know that Epiphone made Les Pauls? I thought that was Gibson?
Anyway, beautiful instruments you have there, Steve. You should really put up some youtubes of you playing them! In fact, I insist! :-)
You must really love your guitars. I only have two - A telecaster and Takamine acoustic (yes yes a Japanese guitar just like my car) and a little Marshall amp, but your instrument, no matter what brand or type, has the unique ability to transport you to another world... |

HAPPY CESAR CHAVEZ DAY!

If you don't live in a State that has made CC's birthday a holiday, don't ask...
|
|
zooeyglass |
Just know it means I have the DAY OFF...
|
|
zooeyglass |
Of course, it also just means I'll spend all day working AT HOME...
|
|
zooeyglass |
But it's still a good deal...
|
|
zooeyglass |
And makes for a [well, didn't ya guess?] most majestic Monday
Have a great day y'all! |
|
Sioux |
Lol, Lisa! I had no idea Calif. made a "day" for Cesar Chavez...But it's good to not have to fight traffic today, eh? Looks like, to me, you are spending your day with Brian! |
|
Sioux |
Is anyone else having trouble accessing the LARS board? It was slow last night, and now I can't even get it to come up... |
|
zooeyglass |
I have to be at the computer all day anyway and it's full of Brian, so what can I say!
Yes, same here on problems with LARS, tried to post several times yesterday and doubt the posts got through. Definitely technical difficulties going on there.
|
|
Sioux |
Ok, thanks Lisa. I know they have problems off and on, but I usually don't get the "Can't find server" screen... |

'Thank You For Being There'
written by Brian Jones
"As each sharp outline
Melts and weaves
And undulates in time
With the compulsive
Rhythmic insistence
Of each pounding musical line
The scornful dancing lady dressed
In black at last reveals
She really isn't there at all
She simply isn't real
So thank you for being there
-My love
At least I know that you're real
As I speak with you of love
In metaphors and in code
A need for satisfaction grows
But they're stories still to be told
Of experience and fantasies.
Of vision and of fears
But when the visions fade
-you'll be there
Lying in my tears
Thank you for being there my love
Then I know that you're real
If the lashing tail of paranoiac fears
Strike my smarting face
Your understanding comforts me
And puts everything in its place
So shush, my love,
Your look and your touch
Can leave everything unsaid
And I can face all those
Little people
Just like Gulliver did.
Thank you for being there, my love
At last I've found someone who's real
The maniacal choirs that screamed out a warning
Now sings out lullaby
The walls that crashed to bury you and me
Now shelter our hideaway
Thank you for being there my love
At last I've found someone that's real
Thank you for being there my love
At last I know that you're real."
