JoneseygirlU.K. Hello to everyone on the Brian board!! Steve...those guitars are just awesome, thanks for sharing them with us.
Now, I'm on leave this week and not particularly doing anything but relaxing at home.Brian trivia time. I was reminded by a post on the last thread that sometime around late 1968 Brian had his teeth done.(I love the way his vanity overcame all his troubles)I've gone through my files and posted the ones I have of him smiling with his new nashers...anymore from anybody else?

zooeyglass It's hard to find any -- there's so few pics of Brian from late '68 to his death, and fewer with a toothy grin!

Maybe this one?

JoneseygirlU.K. Thanks again Zooey!! I've managed to find another one of him with white pearlies although his old smile was indeed infectious.I'm thinking that Brian was again a first out of sixties British pop stars to get his teeth done.Didn't bother Keef until a helluva lot later!!There's not many 'white pearlies' of Brian, but if anybody finds one post away!!

JoneseygirlU.K. Thanks Zooey!! I'm always serious about things when I'm on me hols (vacation). Thanks a million for the Pearly Brians.
To think,he had all that teeth work done at a time when he didn't have a lot to smile about.Bless him.If he had got himself sorted mentally and physically-i.e lost that bloated weight and kept to simple country living for a while-he would have been even more handsome than before had fate not been so cruel.

Sioux I saw our lovely, toothy Brian on ET tonight! {That's "Entertainment Tonight"}. They had a bit on "Shine A Light", and talked about the early Stones---and that was accompanied by a bit of footage from the Mike Douglas Show---Not Fade Away---with Brian shaking that glorious head and blowing his harp. And then the reporter said it was out on DVD. Wow, I don't know that I have that on DVD {I know it's up on YouTube, or was...} Anyway, how wonderful to look up at my 2008 TV and see 1964/5 Brian!
1st April 2008 07:21 PM
zooeyglass Cool, thanks for the heads up -- it pays to be in different time zones, ET doesn't come on for another 3 hours here so I'll be able to catch it

And good night Alex!

Sioux That's good, Lisa... I knew you were on the left coast. So, I came here as soon as I saw the teaser clip!
