Nice - thanks Ralph.

You're not from Yorkshire in England by any chance?

Hi,Gazza, pleased to meet you.I was born in Yorkshire but I`ve changed sides and moved to Lancashire.
26th January 2007 06:30 PM
Gazza Reason I asked was I think I used to trade Stones tapes with you in the mid 80's. I live in Belfast - if you're the guy I'm thinking of, you would have lived around Keighley or Bradford around then. Apologies in advance if I've got the wrong bloke!
26th January 2007 06:41 PM
Bingo They're adding more Stones everyday!

Amazing.Yeah,Iremember,is it Gary Galbraithe?I was living in Bradford, teaching at the Art College at the time.It was about the same time as the Bradford FC fire. What a coincidence.I sometimes wonder what happened to people from my tape trading days.Glad to see that that you`re alive and kicking.By the way I1ve still got boxes of old tapes gathering dust out in the shed.Nice to hear from you after all this time.Cheers,Ralph.

Yep. Thats me. Good to see you posting here. You'd be surprised how many folks who were subscribers to all those fanzines like IORR etc in the mid 80's are still around.

I've still got thousands of old tapes lying around that need converted to CDR. Some chance of THAT happenin'!

gonzalo76 Thank you so much for this ABB Early Mixes to everybody involved in it, Gary, GTRM and Ralph.

Now I'm just thinking why would somebody shared an mp3 version of this kick ass album?

Too bad he didn't at least encode it using VBR mode "-V 0 --vbr-new" with LAME 3.97.

All the best,
Gonzalo

Sounds like you need to put the actual files in the correct directory. Email me and we'll work it out, Keith.
28th January 2007 03:09 PM
gimmekeef Tried again from scratch...The Maketorrent hashes the file and they are in a separate location on my HD.It shows as being successfully loaded on tracker.then when I go thru the download process with Utorrent it stays at 0.00%..never goes to 100% to allow for seeding?..Even tried forcing and nothing......lol...this gets frustrating!
28th January 2007 03:57 PM
GotToRollMe Check email, Keef.

Are you going to share it also on Dime?

No, I won't upload this onto DIME. I guess they won't allow me to do it.

skyofcrack Every single Mickboy title is lossy. If you have one in your collection then check it for yourself. The remaster process includes a MiniDisc.

The bottom line is: if you want a Mickboy, grab it. There are no lossless Mickboys. I got this directly through Gerry. A copy from his orignal cd-r's. I also have the latest title for Voodoo (which cannot be posted here) and I'm trying to find a place to share it.

Dime is very strict. They use to carry MD-sourced recordings but not anymore. There's another Mickboy title there right now (Earl's Court '76) and that's lossy as well. No one's reported it though.
