As you get older, you will understand that it is worthwhile to fight for the things worth fighting for. I have attained a very high level of success by making wise decisions. Each night I go home to my 5000 sq ft estate in one of our 2007 automobiles to spend time with my wonderful, happy, and financially secure family because of fighting the appropriate fights in the business world.

If my participation stopped just one Stones fan from becoming a fan of LZ, then it was worth it. I, personally find it unacceptable for true stones fans to praise LZ as they are posers in the truest sense of the phrase. That is my opinion and one can agree with it and non die hard stones fans can disagree.

If it is acceptable for led fans to proclaim how great they are on a stones board, its acceptable for to peacefully argue against it.

You used to be my party doll
But now you say the party's over
You used to love to honky tonk
But now the honky tonking's over

Now life is a bitter thing, my sweet
Now life is a mystery to me
Love's pain, I ain't buying
Love's strange, I keep flying, flying, flying

You used to be my party doll
But now you want to live in clover
You used to be my number one
But now those salad days are over

Times change but the fascination stays
Love wins but the passion just fades
I'll drink to the dancing days
I'll drink to your crazy ways
Through the whiskey haze

Face the music, face the truth
Chase that fleet sweet bird of youth
Grow up sweetly, grow up strong
Hear the heartbeat in my song

Love's pain, I ain't buying
Love's strange, I keep trying, trying, trying

You used to be my party doll
But now you say the party's over
You used to love to honky tonk
But now those dancing days are over
You used to be my number one
But now you vanished in the ozone

Nellcote See Pug, it's a community.
This is not a crusade for justice.
I never came here to post only about the Stones.
I never read that in the mast head of this blog
an inability to post about other things.
I did not sign a non support clause.
You don't like other bands, fine.
I'm not about to behead you.

I'd like to think we are friends and I am able to look past the point that The Patriots cheated. I even would consider myself a fan of the Boston Red Sox (although, as you know, I support the pale hose!). I enjoy posting about many other things other than the stones.

I simply do not understand why the Stones are not even the favorite band of most members here. Josh has sent me a PM asking you to admit he is the bigger stones fan. You may respond to him via PM if you'd like. As a die hard fan, I have had trouble accepting the fact that the Stones are so universally despised, even by their own fans.

Thank you for choosing to leave my head intact.

I particularly like the matching floor/wall tiles! If I could spend a few hours of the day working peacefully in the can, I think I'd be a little more productive!

PartyDoll MEG Hey Pugs...

Everyone is entitled to their opinion. We know you don't like Zep, you've made it abundantly clear. If truth be known, I can't even listen to Plant anymore. Just a tiny little suggestion from your old pal Partydoll: how about letting those who do like them and want to discuss them on this off topic thread do so?

Nellcote Pug, JB needs to look in the mirror to proclaim
he's a Dolphin fan. That would about do anyone in.
Oh, and by the way, tell him I have the snow plow Coach Shula likes so much. Cameragate is so September, you really need some new material. Written fact that when Mangenious was with the Pats, and they played the J E T S that each team would go to the other to tell them to shut the cameras off. I bet Mangenious is so happy how things turned out this year. No problem here, red meat to the lions....Glad to see you are posting again. Let's just understand we all have varied musical tastes, as well as varied things in life. You don't have to dig anything of mine, and I don't have to dig anything of yours. You like pugs, right? You will not like me anymore when I tell you I almost twisted the neck off of my brother in law's stupid little, squished face pug, for taking a bite out of someone, and wanted to have a ceremonial burning of it, complete with party favors! Luckily for him, I was escorted out of the room before I could grab the hound. Plus, it was a dumb, defenseless animal, very unfair of myself to handle this in that manner. Let the quick, needle insertion handle it. So, pugs & myself are not buds. I will say it was completely enjoyable to dig the Stones with Mrs. Pug & yourself from 5th row @ Fenway 1.
But this bashing is so old, it's like Rex Grossman thinking he can play in the NFL.

Anyway, back on topic. Fair to say many of us here dig Zep, Aerosmith, etc. Not a problem. As far as the barrister from Boca, please give him my regards. Tell him one of his tribe, a fan of the Pats, who had season tickets until 1994, when he bought the team, has just inked an agreement with Les Moonves & CBS to have an entertainment complex next to The Razor. Stinks to be a fan here. JB could do this to, however, he's too busy posting on blogs. Oh, and by the way, these photos of people sleeping are great. I can fall asleep at the drop of a hat, in fact, I will go have a siesta right now in your honor! Narcolepsy is us!

Enjoy the ride.....

Although I sense you are disturbed for your actions and behavior towards a defenseless pug, we are friends. I enjoyed spending that wonderful evening at Fenway with you. On an additional note, I hope that you are castrated by a rabid pug!

If you want to fall asleep, don't check out the pictures of the people sleeping, just read all the Zep praise going on at a supposed Stones fan site.....it has nearly put me to sleep.

Cheers.

we are free to speak our mind here. There are several LEd Zep fan sites that would kill to have the type of action we provide here.

Rocks Off, A stones fan site, should not have a "leave Led Zeppelin posts alone policy, and to my knowledge, it doesn't have one. If I have to read through posts (to check for potential security threats to myself, pugs, family) praising a subpar band, it is perfectly within my rights to express my disgust with the level of fans here.

Sir Stonesalot So. Puggy.

Who the fuck died and left you in charge of deciding what exactly makes up a "die-hard Stones fan"?

Unbeknownst to you....no one really gives a flying fuck what you think.

Do you think the actual real Rolling Stones would agree with your assessment? I don't. I highly doubt that any of The Stones would want ANY of their fans...including you n your butt buddy JB...to enjoy their music to the EXCLUSION of everything else. I mean, c'mon man. Do you realize how close minded, intolerent, and fascist you are being about this? If you are gonna claim that this is all a joke...you should realize that you are the only one laughing. OK, JB too, probably. WhoopeeDoopee. Where does that leave everyone else? I don't like Zep any more than you do, but I'm not gonna bash anyone if they dig 'em. What is the fucking point of that?

See this is the crux of why you piss so many people off. It's because you think that you know better than anyone else. Here's a clue for ya...you don't know squat about shit. No one does. And for you to claim that you do...even if you claim that it's a jest...is just fucking obnoxious and retarded. It's not cute and funny. Not even a little. It's nothing more than annoying, irksome, flatulent, and ignorant.

Don't PM me, don't email me, don't MySpace me...I don't want to hear your same ol' song and dance. Just do everyone a favor and SHUT THE FUCK UP ALREADY. Your holier-than-thou bullshit is played out. It was played out when I left here six months ago...and it will still be played out if and/or when I return full time. Do yourself a favor and disappear up your own bunghole....you can enjoy the smell of your own ass all day long, and no one else has to hear you say how great the scent is.

NO ONE CAN WORK A STAGE LIKE MICK JAGGER!

No comparison.

NONE.

LJ.

Of course there's no comparison. Mick is absolutely and will always be the greatest frontman of all time....and he's an EXCELLENT harp player too, which I so wish he'd do a lot more of.

I happen to dig them both for different reasons. Robert has become more thoughtful and spiritual in his recent years. He has a different charisma level than Mick, but make no mistake, he has plenty of charisma. Yet, I realize if you can't stand his voice and mannerisms, then that's that.

Heck, I LOVE and cannot get enough of Bob's gravely voice so it isn't hard for me to also love Robert's.

It sure is nice to chat with you LJ! Still snowin' here in CO.

xxoo,
Martha

Sir Stonesalot >nice job on the tamberines<

Yeah, I was playing a full kit with brushes, but it was too loud. So for dynamic purposes, I went to just beating the shit outta a tamborine. It fits our broke down sound better.

Oh...we haven't had to pay to play anywhere. We GET $500 for 3 sets. We don't have to pay.

Thought you should know that.

Thanks for the info.

Actually, you're just mimicking Josh... If you really hated Zep, as much as you claim to, you would say something , not just what Josh has said. And you would also not prticipate as much as you have, because all you really are doing is saying to us, look at me. Which, is what a poser does. Hence posing...
