Hi!
I was closed to b stage and the echo was terrible.
Marseille is the best place for an outdoor stadium show in France imho.

santé!

my plans are still; nice, barcelona and amsterdam.
(and then maybe london, paris....?)

money's not really the problem (for i am richer than JB), but have to see wether can take time off work and/or
wether i still have holidays left.

but you have to come to Nice jumy!

of course when/if we go to Amsterdam, we can go by car(s) together.

Egon !
ok for Barcelona!!
Nice depends on where is RO gathering, which is for me the biggest event of the year!!

oh, and anyway, I plan to have romantic and full of sex holydays with Ms Mc FLy too

Monkey Woman I'll definitely be at the Stade de France on June 3rd! As for other venues, I'll have to see what my purse can stomach - and what other obligations I'll be under. I may have to work a lot during late spring/early summer, as my novel is (at last!) slated to be publish sometime in May or June 2006. I'll probably have to do a "tour" myself, signatures in bookstores and so on! How cool is that?

I'm pretty extatic, as you can expect!
November 30th, 2005 05:20 AM
egon novel..? tell me more.

Irene is a great lady!

Monkey Woman Well, I think I've posted about it here before, but it wasn't definite yet. In short, here it is. I'm a writer, have been for some time but my first novel was accepted a few months ago. The publisher is a very nice and friendly lady who just started her own company after working for others, so we are going to grow and gather success together, we hope! It's an adventure caper set in an imaginary universe, marketed for young adults, but really intended for anyone above 12.

I'll tell you when and where it's available, and next RO summit I promise I'll sign everything you want. (No, not Stones stuff! And not body parts either, unless we are both crazy drunk!)

P.S. I hope you read french, because that's the language I use when I write fiction!
November 30th, 2005 05:30 AM
Monkey Woman Thank you, Ju! You're a gentleman! I hope so see you in Nice next summer.

a) a fan's computer

b) a fan's baby (he declined)

c) a woman fan's breasts (I don't know what he did...)
November 30th, 2005 05:51 AM

when you sign your book!

These missing numbers are presumably reserved for possible additional shows

333 is a legacy test page for a concert on 13.3.06. Country code is 'TW'. I dont know what thats supposed to mean

Gazza, thanks for the summarising all the codes, something I never got round to doing.

an additional potential date, using the same method.

I think I might be looking for two tickets for that show. The wife is keen on the idea of a few days in the Cote d'Azur. We've holidayed in Nice before (6 years ago) and liked it. She'd probably want a seated ticket though..

any idea of the prices for this show?
December 1st, 2005 07:00 AM
egon no idea about price gazza, but i saw floortickets for amsterdam
are already eur 110 or so..

fnac has no news yet, but i keep checking here;
http://www.fnacspectacles.com/?fc=cf&RNID=-7&CurArea=&NID=-7

and here
http://www.virginmega.fr/

i have no problem buying the tickets for you.
for quickest reply from my side please email me.

Gazza That would be fantastic. If you could help me get two seated tickets (whatever price you can) that would be much appreciated.

Obviously I would send you the money by paypal immediately if that works for you. I'll e-mail you later

thanks

Jumacfly A rumor on a french site says the Stones have booked the olympia in Paris.
It may be wrong but I m sure the Stones will do it, like every time they come to Paris.
plus there's a break of 3 days between the Stade de France show and the next date...
December 1st, 2005 10:17 AM
blackandblue ONE GOOD ADVICE: avoid the Amsterdam Arena even if you can get in for free. It's an absolute nightmare to watch the Stones there because the acoustics suck. It's really a disgrace.

There is a two day break, and since they no longer play two nights in a row, it would have to happen at a later date, if at all.

apparently theyre in the process of a quite expensive upgrade to improve the acoustics.

Hopefully this year will be better

Personally, I think its kinda nice the way the Stones charge you the price of just one ticket for a venue where you'll be able to hear the show twice
