When LJ was behind me, hugging me for this pic, I felt so loved and so happy... Stones can't take that from me...

That's because you are very loved!!!
I miss you already.
You think I'll EVER forget your company at MSG during As Tears Go By???
Never!!!

Dammit I didn't think I had any tears left.

I personally think this would be a GREAT opportunity for Stones fans to hit 'em where it counts...in the wallet.

Cash in those tickets for a refund boys and girls. And don't go back. Draw the line in the sand and stick to it.

Stones Inc. has a complete and total lack of respect for you. Now is the time to tell them that Stones fans can't be shit on time and time again. We need to let them know that there are repercussions for their actions. And obviously, the only repercussions that mean anything to them...are financial.

Let's see what happens if the big show AC promoter takes a fuckin'. That would jeopardize another promoter taking a high $$$ risk at booking an extended engagement after they "retire" from touring...at least it would in AC. And the casinos might not look at The Stones as a sure thing either. Let's see what happens if future bookings are put in jeopardy.

Let's see what happens if the Stones show up to play a gig to an empty small venue. Maybe that slap in the face will wake them the fuck up. Kick 'em right in their overinflated egos.

So do it baby. Turn those tix in for a refund. Use that money to buy someone in your life a special holiday gift or something like that. Take your parent's out to dinner. Buy yourself a new guitar. Do whatever you want...just don't give that money to Stones Inc. Send them the message that we won't be shit on, and treated like mindless cattle anymore.

Stand up for your dignity. Stones Inc., they don't give a fuck about you. Give 'em the finger and cash in those tix.

Give it a rest, man.

Why does it even matter if they do a make up on 11/17?

Why are you people gonna pay Stones Inc. to LIE to you, and piss in your face.

Fuck them man. Get your refund and let 'em play to an empty venue.

You are going to The Beacon...THAT is the proper way for it to end. I think you know it too Glenny. Do the right thing man, get your refund and spend it on people who care about you...we all now know that Stones Inc. doesn't.

I have more than enough money so for me, that's a non-issue. I am unhappy about the way this was handled. I'm certainly less enthusiastic about 11/17 than any concert I've ever gone to. Last night was magic. The 11/17 AC show is more about meeting friends again. The show is tertiary. Not even secondary.

Bitch Just looking at everyone's faces makes me smile. Isn't that BITCH shirt great? Thanks to Martha for sending it to me! Many shout outs that night, hey Bitch, hi Bitch, etc.

LJ if there is a second AC attendance list, add my name on the list. For me it's only a tank of gas away, no big deal. Looking on the bright side, it extends ABB for another few weeks, otherwise it would already be over and now I have another show to look forward to.

Ever since KEEF's coconut tree incident, I have been very reluctant to travel far and wide to see the RS, it's gotten too risky. From now on I select the gigs that are close enough to drive to and that's it.

glencar My only disappointment with the show last night (and it's a minor one) is that they didn't do anything like IWTL or Let Me Down Slow or Sweet NeoCon from ABB.

LJ, those are gorgeous! I absolutely love the shot of you and Pdog...perfect! Now I remember...I kept giving the finger any time someone snapped a pic...boy, was I wasted...and more than a little pissed off! I took some pictures too. Gotta get 'em developed and see if any of 'em actually came out. I can only imagine the photographic carnage I wreaked in the state I was in...

I remeber you were having some issues with cameras. It was funny. You kept looking at the camera all pissed off. I was sure you were going to smash it... After all the BS passes, the anger goes away, that's what i'm gonig to remember. Just us whackos having fun, no matter what!

LMAO...I'll be very surprised if I get any decent shots out of that roll. I shoulda just brought the digital with me. I had the 35mm for "concert photos"...*ahem*
But you know, pdog, more than anything, what I'll remember from that day are all the cool people I met (like YOU!) and the laughs we had, which were many. It was well worth the trip, if only for that.

Sir Stonesalot You know the most messed up thing to come out of this...and I bet I'm not the only one who feels like this...I'd go to another summit to meet up with board friends in a heartbeat, but I don't think I'll ever go see the band again. Previous to all of this...I couldn't imagine having been in the same town as the Stones...and NOT going to the show. Now I could care less about the show, and I couldn't care MORE about my friends.

Strange turn of events, never saw it coming.

nankerphelge Here's an idea -- for anyone going to the AC reschedule -- just sit there.

The whole show -- no standing, no yelling, no dancing, no clapping, no nuthin'.

A whole arena of nothing for 20 songs.

Just the sounds of crickets between tunes!
