Gillette Stadium doesn't have anything scheduled that week so I guess it's possible. There's nothing going on there from Monday the 25th through Friday the 29th.

I guess the former rumor about Aerosmith opening was to be expected since Aerosmith/Motley Crue have confirmed "Boston" dates on Sept 26th and Sept 28th - both at the Tweeter Center in Mansfield.

Saint Sway Santa Barbara Bowl is a beautiful venue. It would be awesome if the Stones played there.

I would DEFINATELY travel for that. I love Santa Barbara. Especially the vineyards.

basically not making any travel plans for this tour. I still love the Stones but I'm way done with the big stadium and arena shows.

I'll do MSG & Borgatta provided my connections come thru but definately wont be making all the other trips I normally like to do like Vegas, Boston, Philly, LA etc

I've gotten my Stones fill. Unless theres something interesting or different I'm no longer tempted to shell out for them

Slavegirl San Fran and L.A. for me, as usual!
13th July 2006 05:53 PM
Saint Sway FUCK EM! If they come thru town with the same tired dog & pony show playing the same set with the same warhorses then I'm not paying 1 more cent to go to anymore Stones shows

Sup P? ESPN has been hyping the Panthers.

Gazza why is it called a mini-tour anyway? It'll be the same length as whats left of the European tour..should THAT be renamed a 'mini tour' as well?

Bitch Did someone mention the Borgata in AC? That's cool, is someone "in the know" giving away the rumored date? I have some VIP comps due, and the Borgata always comps out tickets. Those will be hard to buy on TM and will be gone in a flash.

I'll def do NYC, also Philly and Boston if they are indoor shows.

When will the official announcement be made? I purchased my tickets over 5 months in advance last time. This time they aren't giving as much advance notice.

Can anyone enlighten us?

First I heard of it was in this thread, but I figure if they're playing The Borgata, I'm going. (Got a cousin who works there and lives 5 minutes away, so I can't pass that one up.)

they're coming to NA for sure. Halifax and few select dates. Wrapping up in Honolulu. Very limited though since the US tour market is dead as a result of the poor economy/high gas prices/and overall fuck job that Bush has us in. Stones dont want to risk it and will only entertain guarantees and likely sell outs - but their are few guarantees now on the table from promoters, even for our beloved Stones.

they were strongly rumoured to play that venue last autumn, with the show being slated to be one of those Hard Rock-style shows with ticket prices over $1,000 - however it didnt happen when they decided not to play any small shows at all.

So, if it comes off this time, I wouldnt expect it to be in the same price range as a regular show, so maybe tickets wont be as hard to come by as if it were one of the mythical '$50 a ticket theatre shows' that Cohl promised.

LadyJane IF we are so lucky...my top three are:

State College will get a show, will not generate the proper profit or receive the proper guarantee.

No Summits this time, please....too many feelings hurt, and it is difficult to find locations that have bars across from each other in case of "do not greets" being enforced.
13th July 2006 09:36 PM
voodoopug Don't expect a AC casino show. I can say this with high confidence (see my track record...we are continually right)

Poplar i'm getting kind of pissed that those who allege to know the mini-tour itinerary don't have the balls to just list the dates and locations.

Complete balllesness.

Europe mini tour is the standard tour for them, very low profit, humiliating gross sales #'s, more of a thank you to the few good fans left in the in Europe (see: ErikJJF, Gazza, and others), therefore not called minitour. It is also an opportunity to push ABB to the European fans who fell in love with Streets of Love with a stunning live performance of it!

US is called mini tour because typically the tour stops at several US cities (far more than any other country), with extended stays in major venues.

13th July 2006 10:29 PM
