Topic: Which Stones MiniTour shows will you attend? If any? (NWC) Return to archive Page: 1 2 3

Saint Sway When the stones roll back to the US to pad their retirement accounts, which shows/citys do you have dog eared?

I'm definately hitting The Borgatta show. Possibly MSG. Doubtful I'll do any travelling this time.
13th July 2006 12:57 PM
Dan I haven't really thought about it. The Forum show in March was the perfect send off. I guess it depends on if they have a top level opener in LA that I deem a must see (AC/DC etc). I doubt I will buy any tickets in advance. Anything within convenient bus distance I might go hang out and see what happens. Also, I wont feel obligated to go if any other bands I deem as must see (Hanoi Rocks, Peeping Tom, Mudhoney etc) have shows the same day.

GotToRollMe MSG and The Borgata...
and I'm gonna really, really, REALLY try to make Chicago.
It depends on how much blood I have left after NYC.

We cannot be seen at venues that sell poorly, and I agree with your earlier email, it would be best if we did not disclose which shows we are going to except to a select few. There are far too many security issues we have to consider.

I have booked the hotel as you have...we can only wait now and see what happens. The 24hr cancellation period is a must.
I will not attend any summitts this time...all greetings will be private and unannounced....those privileged to be let in, will be notified via cell phone on day of event.

There are very few Stones fans in that region that are willing to pay the required fee. I advise against playing there, too much effort will have to be put into papering.

Shows how little you know about that area or the venue. Its a very affluent area. However, the venue only holds 4000-4500. Sometimes midlevel acts like the Pixies, Beck or Weezer play there, drawing from the state university crowd. Sometimes larger classic rock acts who play arenas in LA/OC also play there. Pearl Jam and Sonic Youth are there tonight. KISS are doing 2 casino shows in the area with tickets priced at $150-250ish
