Within months there were long gas lines , raging inflation , a severe recession took hold of the country , high unemployment and a ' ticked off ' population . You ain't nooooo good! The Prez doesn't take a hit just for having a bad econ. Nixon was the only one to resign. Only the second to have impeachment proceedings start up. He had 1972 in the bag & his team got too clammy & went stalking. He shoulda reined them in. |
